oafcmetty
Not spotted anyone mention this: http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/important-supporters-survey-2310616.aspx Not sure the new PA guy is going to like my thoughts on him! oafc_lover
My gripe was more at the quality of the speakers more than the actual PA Announcer.

"Would you like to see a supporters bar at the ground?" What does "supporters bar" mean? What is it/would it be? I know someone answered this once before but I can't find the thread and I've forgotten Edited March 4, 2015 by HarryBosch

Must mean they're thinking about restricting who's in there.
Latics and England
Not the greatest survey I have seen but not as bad as the one the FA have sent out to selected fans (and why would they pick selected fans?) Clearly the biggest issue amongst England fans is whether they get to shout out the players' names when they are being read out on the PA. I would be very disappointed if the restricted who can go in. I like to be able to mix with opposition fans before the game. You get some dicks but on the whole you can have a good discussion with other lower league fans.

There's a few good ones, I think it was Stevenage who had a good, open supporters' bar at the ground

I know someone answered this once before but I can't find the thread and I've forgotten For me it's just a Latics themed bar. Not sure if that's the general thinking mind. A suggestion I put in the survey was rather than showing the early prem kick off game on screens before our game, show a classic latics match in full instead. Get everyone in there spending and getting all geed up.
Monty Burns
Supporters bar question is one of the stupidest questions I have ever been asked.

nzlatic
Silly because people would rather watch Stoke vs Crystal Palace than Ritchie taking arsenal to pieces?

Monty Burns
Why? Because we should just be getting a big mint open to all boozer accessed from outside the stand, it shouldnt even be still a variable so late in the game.
Hands on
Isn't there a bar accessed from the outside in the plan for the new stand so it could (and should) be open to all but rather a crush on match days.

steveoafc
So are we now in with a chance of getting a 'supporters bar' ? I thought it had been downscaled to a concourse bar.
Diego_Sideburns
Apparently this was the thread about the Survey which has resulted in the Club relocating away fans to the Chaddy End next season, “following a long consultation period, including discussions with our supporters”. I have to admit that this thread did not alert me, and as I didn't take the trouble to look at the survey, I can't complain at the outcome. doctor evil
The survey did not mention or ask about relocation. Im not sure, i remember doing a survey (might not have been this one) and there was definitely some question along the lines of if the chaddy shut what would you do.
