palmer1 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Team talk done right there.. You mean for them right? I'm very surprised the deal doesn't extend to away fans as well.
BP1960 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Hes right, we'd complain if it happened to us, this promotion has been inept to say the least.
pinevillawill Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 (edited) Can you blame them? Poor from the club. 400 mile round trip on a cold Tuesday night in November. Edited November 23, 2015 by pinevillawill
Hometownclub Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Should be the same price for everybody, very poor and as said above we'd be annoyed if it happened to us.
HarryBosch Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Should be the same price for everybody, very poor and as said above we'd be annoyed if it happened to us. Would we? If I go to an away game I expect it to be about £20.
NIKI1234 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Everything the club do is inept. It starts at the top, goes through the offices and end on the pitch.
ChaddySmoker Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Hes right, we'd complain if it happened to us, this promotion has been inept to say the least. Will you stop using the word promotion on here
youngen Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Would we? If I go to an away game I expect it to be about £20. Yeah but when Charlton and MK put the promotions on and allowed Latics fans the same £1/£5 entry, it was a welcome suprise. I even got to see 8 goals for the £1 at MK, I think Ive seen 7 goals at BP for about £132 at BP this year
vendman Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 At least paying £22 they have a good chance of seeing a team set up to try and win the match....same can't be said for us.

I even got to see 8 goals for the £1 at MK, I think Ive seen 7 goals at BP for about £132 at BP this year You got lucky, I went to an MK Dons match at £1 and it was a 0-0 on a Tuesday night. Wonder why they always put promotions on when we play them? Because they know what an abysmal attendance it would be from both sets of fans otherwise? I feel dirty for just admitting that I put £1 into the coffers of franchise scum.
jorvik_latic Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Hes right, we'd complain if it happened to us, this promotion has been inept to say the least. I'm pretty sure it has happened to us recently.
Hometownclub Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Would we? If I go to an away game I expect it to be about £20. Yes, well I would. I'd be annoyed if I were paying £22 and the locals were paying £5 to watch the same :censored:e.
PlayItLivo Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I'm sure their 80 fans won't be complaining about the ticket price once we spinelessly roll over for them on the pitch.
24hoursfromtulsehill Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I'm pretty sure it has happened to us recently. Rings a bell. Saying that, it was £15 to get in Gillingham, which was very hospitable.
jorvik_latic Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Rings a bell. Saying that, it was £15 to get in Gillingham, which was very hospitable. As it says in the article too, 4 local incentives are allowed each season. I'm sure that was the reasoning behind us not kicking off about it. £15 is the max they should be charging to sit on scaffolding. In Gillingham.
deyres42 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 How come nobody was outraged about this last week?
BP1960 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Will you stop using the word promotion on here Its obscure now and not been used for several years.
Latics_Fanatic Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Can we do anything right? They need to refund the difference.
SavageTheBeast Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 (edited) Coventry doing the same promotion against us in December. Anyone know does it apply to us? Edited November 23, 2015 by SavageTheBeast
oafc-latics Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I thought the rules were changed a few years back that meant you couldn't charge away fans more than home fans? But in Latics defence, it's still £22 on the day for home fans, and if you're coming from Southend to Oldham on a tuesday night, the price isn't going to be a factor. Charging £22 or £5 won't change the amount they bring.

mikeroyboy Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 How come nobody was outraged about this last week? They've been listening to us airing our dirty washing in public.
pinevillawill Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 (edited) How come nobody was outraged about this last week? Because most presumed it was for home AND away fans? Edited November 23, 2015 by pinevillawill
