dannyboy55555
Oldham. New manager openly being discussed. Decent name. May make paper tomorrow. Or on here.
Lukers1
One GMR host told me prior to Colchester game that someone was lined up even if we lost or even got a draw.
Lukers1
I still think Phil Brown was a safe bet for us, I know I will get punished for mentioning that name but we wouldnt be in this mess or in a relegation battle.

adamoafc
Won't be someone in work as we won't have the money to pay off the club. The dowie rumours started already I see!

I hated the idea before Johnson's appointment. I retracted that after his Southend side demolished us.

Lukers1
Phil Brown did loads of work for GMR whilst out of work... He knows his football and wants to be back in the north west. I know his team has been mullered but we have been on the end of some horrific tonkings recently.. His was a one off blip, ours is a regular feature.. HarryBosch
http://www.managerstats.co.uk/managers/gary-bowyer/ 34% win percentage, had Blackburn on the verge of the playoffs last season, 131 games under his belt. We could do worse... Do him and Dunn get on? If so, could this see Dunn staying and playing?
IceStationLatic
The Board are strongly considering a change of manager and some members have had contact with Dowie again is what I've heard and already posted on here. If that is true, or/and that contact has been positive, I imagine it will be in the press tomorrow in some form. Until we get the dreaded vote of confidence club statement, about an impending statement, all signs point to things kicking off behind the scenes. Relegation would be disastrous for many reasons, including the finances behind a takeover. Five points from safety, with the two games in hand coming up. This could be a monumental month and sliding doors moment for the history of our club.
Scapegoat
Think that if we do change manager it will HAVE to be one with experience. Even Ronnie Moore or Warnock as much as I hated them, would likely keep us up.
IceStationLatic
Weren't Bowyer and Dunn at loggerheads? Or was that someone else?

the_mighty_bosh
I hope it's not Bowyer. He'd be a massive step up from Dunn. Stabilising the car crash that was the Venky's run Blackburn is no mean feat. Edited January 3, 2016 by the_mighty_bosh
Twisbrogan
Do people on here ever learn, throwing names about with actual credentials!! I'm just randomly throwing a name in as someone currently being with a League Two job (along with Mark Cooper). I know full well that's good name in this context won't be an experienced manager but someone whose name just sounds interesting. Like Fergal Sharkey...or Judd Trump. Lukers1
This should have been all sorted after the Southend disaster.. If the club had acted I think we would be mid table by now
