So what did everybody do with their football free Saturday?

I went to my local rugby club to take in some action...and they won. I'd almost forgotten what it was like to witness such an event.

Went to watch FCUM £9 in excellent food they were 3-0 down after 35 mins sadly they recovered to beat Harrogate 4-3. Joe colbeck scored Harrogate's 3rd but my god he was :censored:!

Ground ticked off I won't be in a rush to return. Like a morge until they went ahead then arrogant Manc pricks

3,300 there and many are still confused what it's all about wearing United kits etc...

Went to watch Droylsden v Ossett Albion, good game 2-1 to Ossett, Droylsden's young on loan winger Billy Hasler -Cregg on loan from Rochdale looked useful, quick and direct.

Both young keepers Steve James of Droylsden and Brett Souter of Ossett handled the ball well in horrible windy and hailstones conditions,it woudn't surprise me if they moved up a few leagues in the future.

Ossett striker Rob Bordman looks a goal machine, 2 nice finishes.

Hate house work....so after wondering what the colour of my carpet really is, decided to shove the vac round and do a bit of polishing so I could actually see BT sport onthe TV from all the dust..where does all this crap come from? I know human skin in the main.

Watched the Colchester v spurs match, scary first 10 mins with a nasty injury to Colchester both centre halfs when they clased heads. It was like tworams head butting each other One was fitting on the pitch but they reported he went to hospital conscious and chatting which is good. The other bandaged up had to be subded another 10 mins late. Shame as they were still in it until the second half.

Had a bath...yes first of new year haha, and realised some white stuff had fallen out of the sky and covered everything then was ready for shoving tea in oven, jacket spud so whilst it cooked I watch a fav movie of mine chick flick called beaches and I always end up tearful in the end, then decided to watch the Livepool v west ham game but I got bored so switched it off

Eventually hubby turned up after an horrendous week at work about 8ish just as I finished walking our new adopted rescue dog in the slutch, or should I say she walked me the little bugger..heheh.

Wow what an exciting afternoon, I need latics matches to get me out of all this house work crap

Went to the theatre and didn't see any football scores until 10pm. I could get used to it...

Oooo a bit of culture you watch anything exciting?

Had an empty feeling from 1pm yesterday, especially when checking the scores on telly but the absence of that disappointment feeling at 4.45pm was a welcome

Busy day tomorrow with work so please Shez announce your signings before 10am and inform everyone that you're off home so my day isn't affected

Took the young Un to his football training at Mark Innes Coaching Academy (MICA) Then rounded off the weekend with a trip to South Lakes animal park haven't seenany scores or placed bets. Feel refreshed through it!

Went down to Cambridge to see a friend of my wife's - who has two kids. Saturday was horrific. Forgot underwear so spent the morning trudging to Tesco for some standard-issue briefs. Decided to go to a dinosaur museum but spent over an hour in queuing traffic, paid £8 for car parking in the city centre and my 2-year-old nearly pushed an iguanodon skull over.

Put it this way, I had a more enjoyable day at the Colchester home match the other week.

So do we think that the enforced break will be good for the team. In theory, a nice little rest recharges the batteries, but whenever we have had a break like this, it has invariably led to a downturn in form. I am not sure it is possible to get worse than pre-Shez, could we see a little setback?

Put the deposit down for our new kitchen, bought a Sonos system for the new kitchen and dining room, set them up. Fixed the broken wifi on my phone so I could use the bloody Sonos whilst cooking some sea bass with a delicious creamy tarragon sauce.

Am I missing something here? They played Gillingham on Saturday.

I wish we were playing Bury this week. The whole team were in Dublin straight after their match on Saturday and were properly on the piss.
