Unless they have temporarily changed the arrangements you can't go South on M6 from the M56 (Westbound). M62 to M6 will be the best bet. It usually is quicker anyway. If you come off at the junction to go North on the M6, there is a fork off to the left before it reaches the M6 carriageway which is the exit for Lymm and South Warrington.
