If Professional players don't go on the pitch to give 100% and with a will to win, no matter what transpires off it, they're fakes. Bunn as to go and go tonight. He wanted a chance and now he's had it. Go back into the backroom team of football Frankie with our blessing. Northampton are another shite side in this league we can't beat. Things at the club need to change or Latics will follow other once solid League clubs into the non league ranks. As much as I like to err on the side of caution and give people a chance, I have to agree with you 100%, Lags.
deckyd
Surridge papered over the displays on a whole with his goals and individual talent, which won us games. To be honest I think Baxter has been ineffective bar a few games and really poor at best. Why O'Grady starts every game is beyond me. We have been a rubbish watch all season to be fair. Mansfield away was atrocious, today was just as bad, Swindon much the same. Every home game is the same shit. If Bunn goes and at this point in time I couldn't give two fecks what happens, surely we can do better? Would be hard to find worse.

Hands on
It continues to fascinate me that anyone can think Bunn should go because of his impact on the team but not accept that Abdallah as owner can have a bad influence on the team by the way our club is run. Naive!
ChrisRichard
Won't be long until Bunn goes now. We are in an identical position to last season. I'm sick of the shit show. There is going to be noone of any quality coming in to manage us, AL isn't going to find a spare 5 million quid down the back of the settee anytime soon to pour into the January window. AL will probably release a few more generic copy and paste statements inbetween now and then but won't address any of the issues we feel as fans. I'm seriously dredding who the new guy in charge is going to be. AL himself perhaps?!

I’ve never seen it work at Latics. We don’t get the ball forward anywhere near quickly enough and we don’t get the ball into the opposition box often enough. It’s not just Bunn though, it’s been like this for years! It’s probably something that is taught on coaching courses, but we don’t have the quality of players to pull it off. losesome
Fans can't see what's happening behind the scenes we only see what's on the pitch. What Bunn is serving up is dire and we deserve better. Please give somebody else a chance and at least get the entertainment factor back. This is L2 - none of the teams are entertaining but some are winning more of the games they play. If you want entertainment , go watch City. Go back to threads about recruitment in the summer - signing strikers with no recent history of goalscoring, midfield players with no experience of the league they would play in. I don’t think there is a manager out there that could turn the squad into a top 7 team. Plus a few players seem to be made of glass.

Be successful and make yourself a wanted man AND have a fair chance of getting paid. OR Sitting on the bog every day reading the Sun and definitely NOT getting paid. That's why nobody ever turns down a job with a "92" club.

latics22
The club is rotten through to the core, from the top to the bottom. It needs serious investment, by people who know what they’re doing! With a decent manager fresh and hungry. Until this happens if ever, we will continue to stagnate!
