League Tables 01.01.2019

Eleven points scored by @DavidCollinge and @Ex_pat (again) were the best in the Premier League, the former pushing up three places to 3rd and the latter creating a 10 point lead at the top. @JoeP should have encouraged two more people to go to the match so he could pick up 20 attendance points. Biggest climber was @nzlatic (up 4) and the furthest fall was @rudemedic (down 5)

In the Championship, 11 points was also the best, this time by Lawman, who nips up 5 places (he'll get an @ if he joins in his own right), whilst @Latics_Fanatic's 9 points moves him up 4 places. Got to feel a bit sorry for @Stevie_J, scoring 8 points and still doesn't move up the table. @Benja ousts @yarddog73 off top spot and the bottom five stay as they were.

League 1 also sees 11 points as the top score, this time by @leeslover, moving him up 3 places, but the battle for 1st place still sees @maddog holding off @Dave_Og as, again, there is no change in the top six. @Latics and England moves to the brink of the play offs with 8 points taking him up 3 places, whilst @Monty Burns' 8 points did him no good at all, position wise, staying in 12th place. I call that unlucky (the same as @Stevie_J) [sniggers at both of them], but it's a funny old game.

As you all know, it's the upcoming FA Cup weekend as Latics travel to Fulham on Sunday (2pm kick off), so there's no Prediction League until we take on the mighty Forest Green Rovers at Boundary Park on 12th January. Let's see if we can get 4,000+ Latics lunatics making noise as only we can and rock the Cottage.

I’d say I’m doing quite well considering l only participate about 60% of the time..

Agreed. Why don’t you review the following post and see if any of the suggestions can help you remember;

The Cup will also begin this month, so selected games will become doubly important and you won’t want to miss any of them.

The Premier league is a fierce comp this season, anyone from 3rd position to 16th will be looking upwards but keeping a wary eye downwards. If Singe and Gravity Grave who have excellent credentials start getting their act together, it will make for a fascinating run in.
