BPAS
Unfortunately, Latics couldn't make it points from three consecutive games, as they lost at home to the high flying, yet distinctly average Harrogate Town. Boundary Park was a cold and lonely place on Saturday, especially if your surname is Lemsagam. The owner watched on, as did the head coach and the fans, all of us wondering; where and when, will all this end? Dave_Og
I think it was 16 home defeats last year which annihilated the previous club record of ten. Well on course to beat that.

dpwild
Great listen once again. Shocking how much of a free pass Lemon got on Sat when he’s there and sat pretty much on his own.

I think a lot of that is down to the fact that most people who have had enough didn’t go the main stand upper is full of the older generation and people who would clap them off if they spent 90 minutes kicking puppies
ShireBlue
The “beat by a tea room” comment made me laugh. But let’s have it right, these “poxy little village teams” are well run (as was said) and have owners that have a clue what they’re doing when it comes to running a professional club. There’s no divine rights in football.
Dave_Og
Is there somewhere that the foundation is appealing for items of memorabilia for the forthcoming auction? Or a list of what is on offer? I'm assuming bidders don't have to be there in person

basilrobbie
I found that quite depressing in a way ; the anguish that Matt in particular is feeling was there for all to hear, really. A couple of points : a) If the owner really wants his money back and it is around six million smackers, he is deluding himself b) you are dead right that raising money has to be for clear, agreed purposes. Pompey are as good an exemplar as there is about what can be done, albeit they have a huge fan base

south east latic
It was very quiet inside BP on Saturday both in terms of cheering the team on and in terms of anti-regime chants. It’s not really surprising though. The Athleticos are the only ones who make any real noise at home and they’re not bothering going after the club told them they couldn’t bring banners in etc. Most of the older crowd who might join in/would start anti-regime songs only go away either because the day out is better (as many have been doing for years now) or are actively boycotting under AL. Those left are not exactly going to be the fire-starters so he will get a largely free ride at home unless there’s an active push made for people to get in to BP and make some noise. What does baffle me though is the number of people who are still against anti-regime chanting/protests. I get people use football as an escape/routine etc but it’s really, really crap at the moment and there’s still a good number of people (mainly in the main stand) who seem happy with things as they are. Whether these people are any better than AL or not is a different question, but I’m more than willing to twist at this point.

They are strange really it's quite depressing seeing them on social media attacking those who want to change things for the better at the football club. What is worse is that many of them are of an older generation and saw this club being built up by both Frizzell and Royle and can remember great times. Seeing what these gangsters have done to our football club now should break their hearts really.

There was another chorus of "we want 'dallah out" started by a vociferous, and often humorous, man in the main stand paddock (RRE). It went around the stadium for a handful of chants! Pompey are as good an exemplar as there is about what can be done, albeit they have a huge fan base I'll say again. I think he has got himself in too deep and has put most of his money into the club. He is probably hanging on, hoping to get it back. Either by turning things around so that that the club is worth what he has put in, (impossible) or someone paying what he wants now (even more impossible). He can't face up to losing his money. If he is offered the rumoured £1.5m he should snap their hands off because it's not worth that. If we get relegated it will be worth far less. He has to see that surely.
