Whats your point?

Pretty obvious really, a club looks like Southend do when it's on the brink of going out of business, winding up orders, points deductions etc. And still they have another 42 days!

Honest question, would you rather have al or Frank in charge?

The general feeling seems to be that there is a buyer in the wings and that it will be completed within the 42 days. My concern would be that its been dragged out for ages now. Is there brinkmanship going on from one side or the other? This could still go belly up.

"Southend United's National League game against Eastleigh was briefly halted as fans threw tennis balls on the pitch in a protest against owner Ron Martin.

The incident occurred in the 10th minute of Friday's match."

I wonder where they got that idea from?

Probably the same place the Athleticos got it from.

It was first done many years ago when Hull fans were trying to get rid of David Lloyd, the former tennis player who owned them and was running them into the ground. For them it was a catchy gimmick, but has been done many times since by protesting fans with no relevance to tennis.Always grabs the media’s attention though.
