Few reports over the last couple of weeks that they’ve really tried to move people out they’ve all said no. I understand not wanting to leave on a permanent for less money, but I can’t understand why Nuttall, Shelton etc wouldn’t want to go loan for the rest of the season and get some football. (And not lose out on money) Why any player would prefer to just train and not play is beyond me. Don’t think Nuttall can be arsed tbh which is reflected in his performance’s! It’s such a short career to just sit out and not play with your stock depreciating over time. Might be a gambit by their agents to poker face it for a couple of months and hope the club agree an early contract payoff in their clients favour. I do suspect we’ll start to see some outward movement towards the end of the month.
yarddog73
Get them earning their money then and keep them fit, as was said earlier we need to get that B team up and running again and get some games in to them. Ultimately the club can't do much about it which is probably more a reflection on them than their employer. Half of them will be stacking shelves in Aldi in 18 months so I suppose they'll milk it for what they can and pretend to be footballers whilst it lasts. Agreed, my appeals for the club to enter the Central League North fell on deaf ears.

Can't see Nuttall lasting two minutes at Aldi, their staff have to work hard for their money.
Flemboy
For me I'd try to offload if possible ⁹ Nuttall Norman Shelton Gardner Willoughby Couto Tollitt Green. Maybe also Dickenson McGahey. The rest of the players I'd keep and let Mellon help them improve .Thanks Unsworth for nothing and wasting Frank's and others funding.

Alex Reid and Ward could go for me. Jake Forshaw is also on pro forms isn't he? Not sure if Kofi Moore and Frazer Cookson are though, but they haven't made a big impact this season. Boyyou
Don't think we have seen enough of Ward to 100pc write him off. Fully fit, I think he is a proper grafter, like Sheron, but with a bit more technique. Think I would give him a chance to show he can be a squad player.

Yes, but I understand at least 2 will be offered terms from the youth team.
League one forever
Bump. With the games ticking by, and some clearly nowhere near the squad. This is who I now think the club will let go/try to move on. Not included the loans, as they will obviously return. Kitching Couto Hogan Magahey Shelton Ward Lundy Tollit Dicky Mikey Reid Kurt Nuttall. The only one I can see being offered a deal, and it’s only a maybe is Green. Out of the above, the only one’s I’d be sad to see go is Fondop, Reid, and Kitching. Who I think the club will keep Norman Hudson Rags Hobson Sheron Conlon Hammond Garner Nors. Around a dozen out and a dozen needed to come in. Ritchierich
I’d bin the lot and start again if we could, they have collectively shown they don’t give a shit and don’t have the desire to progress their careers. The players who have dropped down from the EFL are only here for Frank’ cash and the rest are simply not good enough

Sheron will be here, and as our third top goal scorer behind Nors and Mikey Id be pleased. Shit players don’t score 7 from midfield. He’s made quite a few look silly in their assessment of him.
