If you were there you would have observed that the atmosphere was very subdued. Everyone can protest in their own way. You have to understand that many find it hard not to attend, but can feel at least as hurt by what is going as you appear to be. LightDN123
Spoke to one of the players before today’s game, they had no idea of a potential boycott

adamoafc
Thought today first 25 mins we were not at the races. After that Maouche started controlling the midfield. Best player on the park for me today by some distance. Passing and control of the ball at his feet is a massive step up from the players we have. Iacovitti was superb grew into the game real solid debut. Won virtually everything in the air, happy to throw himself into last ditch challenges and wasn’t afraid of getting forward. Ogrady put put a real shift in today what he does is never pretty but won us so much in the final third. Branger is such a frustrating player. For me there is glimpses of a good player trying to get out but we only ever see glimpses. Another who put a shift in. Decent second half performances and finally a clean sheet. Hopefully build on it Tuesday. 3

TheBigDog
We were better than an average Grimsby side. A couple of good saves by Iversen and solid defending by all of the back four kept our clean sheet intact. Both Nepomuceno and Branger were lively but lacked a cutting edge when in good positions - maybe feeling the effects of their international efforts? That apart, everyone put in a decent shift with particular mentions for Missilou and Maouche in the middle of the park and Lang up front. Iacovitti looked promising too. All in all a solid performance and it was so good to watch a game of football at Boundary Park after the mixed emotions of the past two weeks. Tranmere on Tuesday - bring it on.
