Twisbrogan
Redfearn is evens for the Donny job https://www.skybet.com/football/manager-specials/event/18313143 If we've learnt anything from the last few years, it's that being evens or slightly odds on for a job means that he's nowhere near getting it. we hate man,u and city to
shame how our so called 'fans' (including a large number of atletico's) chanted kelly out. think the writing was already on the wall and it didn't need to be said. I would have give him more time. but unfortunately a fair few of our supporters where never really going to give the guy a chance. The fact that the supporters did that to one of our own, yet applauded the p'boro midget of the pitch is ludicrous. He deserved the applause, but don't do both. Hoping for a experienced manager, but no matter what corney does, i'll trust his decision.

The fact we're not accepting applications suggests the man is already lined up, and I'd be very disappointed if the board have interviewed another man while the job was still occupied by Kelly. Gaz_Oafc
Redfearn was odds on for Donny with skybet at about 5pm today so he's drifted slightly.

Kelly did not deserve that, no matter what you thought of his management skills. Seemed a decent bloke, who tried his best to endear himself to the fans, and never once said a bad word about us. It's like some fans take pleasure out of seeing a man lose his job. Good luck to him in the future, and I hope he goes on to get another cracking at management. the_mighty_bosh
Hoping for a experienced manager, but no matter what corney does, i'll trust his decision. Agree with the rest of your post and until January this year I'd have agreed with the last sentence, but he and the board have made 2 huge blunders which could easily have been avoided, so my trust in his judgement has lessened. He's still a much better option than administration, but I'd have no qualms if he handed the club over to someone else.

The blokes a fraud, should of gone last week in my opinion, I backed him preseason but after sitting through every game of his short reign its clear he is a chancer. Good riddance. He presented himself best he could, he didn't go in disguised as mourinho with a rank bad Portuguese accent.
whitey1980
We have been spanked 0-4, 0-7, 0-3, 0-4 and now 1-5 in the past year, some players have played in them all, it can't all be down to the management and tactics. Totally agree with this. For a talented (as most of us believe they are) bunch of professional footballers to record a series of such dismal capitulations is shameful. I hope they are embarrassed - but suspect not!!
underdog
Another money making opportunity too with meet the new manager night! Yes we deliberately used the Deloren we have on standby to work out when we should have an event, jump ahead to the future , work out when the manager leaves a few days later and we arrange another. Where the chuff do you think the money goes?.....to service the flux capacitor.?.... it's audited in the yearly accounts believe it or not. Psst....the next one might even be done in the new stand too....ooooooo I know too much for any fan to handle. Yes I am chuffed off...but seriously it's the trusts fault right for arranging the event last Thursday.
SavageTheBeast
I watched Kelly from the main stand lower for the last 10 minutes, he didn't move an inch only to check his watch a good 5 times. He was like a condemn man waiting for his death

Someone with Harvey's experience would be great for the time when things aren't going well during matches and he could offer insight from similar situations he'd been in over the years. I don't dislike Holden in the same way that some do, but between him and Harvey I know who I'd have kept at the club and it wouldn't be Dean.
