slystallone
A LJ masterstroke switching Harkins to the left flank reminded me of John Robertson, not a lot a pace but plenty of guile. The other 2 subs worked too. Must eat humble pie on my suggestion of Korey Smith at right back, Sly was right it wouldn't work out. I'll let you off after seeing that today ...and while humble pie is being served, Connor Brown was excellent again when he came on to play in his proper position. Feck. Me. What a game... disjointed
...there's definitely a lesson to be learned here. As was said to me at 4-4 the way forward is forward.
Senor_Coconut
to be honest I think I would have left at halftime and gone to B&Q if I had gone today.

Feck. Me. What a game... Conor Brown showed the player that is in there. Great attacking intent and tackling. Was our out ball from midfield a lot of the 2nd half. But Harkins was sublime. To dispossess on our goal line and beat 2 men was priceless.
slystallone
Worth the fee alone that was. Workrate to get back there; then the skill & guile to do that to 2 plays and get us breaking forward again. Sublime second half from him out wide, classy
Snookmeister
I was seconds away from walking out at half time. Seconds. My Old man and daughter wanted to go. And so did I, but thought we'd give it 10 minutes of the second. So glad we did.
rictic
What the hell did he say to them at half time?! Maybe the players said to Johnson "Your tactics are crap let's get men forward, lump the ball up more and seewhat happens"
Libertine
At HT we were 90/1 to win, someone will have had that somewhere.

slystallone
A few around me talked about leaving; but didnt in the end. That really was one of those game that will go down in folklaw - a real 'I was there' game. Feel for you if you left. Actually, I dont. I have never understood it, and never will. Barnsley at home years ago, 2-1 down going into the 90th minute and winning 3-2. Met a chap in the pub 3/4 hours later; and he didnt even know we'd won; he'd left after 60mins. Just don't get it... Buckshawlatic
I'll be honest I nearly went home at half time (first time I've considered that since being 5-0 down Oldham Vs Cardiff City and Andy Goram) anyone who did go home at half time... Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha - results like that make supporting Latics worth it
oafc-latics
My dad goes to Dale when Latics are away and went to their cup game today. He's sat through all the games where we've struggled to score nil, and missed this one. Serves him right for watching Dale!
