I could never get my head around him being described as 'lazy' on a regular basis. He wasted a lot of energy running the channels at times, which meant he didn't score the goals he was capable of..... but he certainly wasn't lazy!! He just looked like a raw and talented prospect who needed to play games and settle at a club. Fair play to him for the career he has made for himself since leaving us!! He said he can play left or right or even the number 10 roll. It seems soon after this 'issue' we offloaded him to Stockport on loan - where he scored 6 in 13 - but we still offloaded him in the next transfer window.
