Latics have probably offered him the bare minimum that he'd work for and his advisors or agent have told him to hang on for a better offer, you can't blame him for that, even though it's extremely frustrating for the club. If we were throwing money at Evans, why cant we just do it to Iain Dowie. The club needs get fans back on side . Steve Evans was a no go from the starter, he was doing this to gain interested from elsewhere. Dowie would hit the ground running and calm everyone down. He got told by an agent about two weeks ago that it was going to be Neil Adams and then, from nowhere, Steve Evans came up. He doesn't think his dad will take the job if they came back in for him...
