It's stupid and confusing, but even though tonight doesn't count towards his ban, he still can't play. I fear Latics have followed the same logic you have in thinking he is allowed to play tonight.

I hope I'm being a complete dunce and I'm wrong, more for the fact I'll have a better handle on the rules than our own admin staff, than getting put out of the comp though! 😉

I read it the same as you, only hope is that it wasn't serious play, it wasn't a three match ban or it's been rescinded, have the club posted anything at all in relation to the suspension?

Perkins not wasting a pass, could do with him here.

Rochdale passing it far better.

Little seen of Surridge

Missilou outstanding.

Interesting.  Rochdale fans not liking Perkins this season.... at all.

...too old. (Like howson 😉)

He be fortunate to come out for the 2nd half on that non performance.

I think most watching it will agree.

Sounds like most of them will be lucky to come out second half to me. But don’t let that stop you.

Only Missile seems at it.

I have since discovered that a directive was quietly put out to clubs after the group stage that changed things, after Sunderland in particular kicked up a fuss.

So Miller is still suspended for Saturday, but is allowed to play tonight.

Figured it must have been something like that, but good to know for sure!
