Nah never heard of her but that song tho Ive spent the last two decades being wound up by it, once when l was injured and tired l had a listen before a match against a rather rough team in a table top clash l should never have been playing in to try and motivate myself. l got sent off at 0-0 and we lost 4-0. l also spent four years working in retail, so from l had to listen to it 96 times per day for three months every year. Until BPAS rocked up and did what they did with it, it was an actual scourge IMO. They are responsible for massively contributing to almost setting my mental health going in the right direction. Anyway as l was stood trying to comprehend it, the girl who took me there told me she decided l needed to see it when she heard me passionately railing against THAT song and refusing to work every time it came on at work. ln that moment l felt how it must feel to be noble for like the splittest split second ever. lts the only time in my life lve ever had that back of the net feeling wo actually scoring a goal. This was quite a revelation when l was quite blatantly the only white human at the market. And yes, l did make an inappropriate comnent about being sold into slavery but eveybody kept smiling at me and showing me their machette so l felt like l had to push the button that says don't push me.
