Farcical, looks like no one has bothered with even doing any pitch forking and its now sunny and not raining.

Typical also fans are the last to be taken into consideration, especially those travelling from Sutton.

The club has gone to pot and amateurish in all respects.

Or maybe it's all down to the ref...

Not that surprised. Not sure why the club are getting grief on twatter for this though. The ref makes the call. He’s gone a bit early in my opinion.

There are many things to have a go at the club for…

However… what a load of old bollocks you have just typed.

The pitch will be beyond a bit of forking. It’s utterly saturated.  In any event… it’s the ref call!

How do you know, have you seen the pitch, and the fact there's been no rain since noon and none forecast gives 3 hours attention and time to drain. Isn't it supposed to be a pitch that drains well?  I saw 1960s/70s matches on snow and mud heaps.

The game has gone soft.

To be fair they used a ball back then like heading a rock which has led to dementia

Hopefully it will be a positive for us, more time for signings, rest players and team around us lose and the games in hand disappear. It is what it is, we Move on.

2 weeks without a game for our so called best players. Great excuse for Selim to say after being beaten they were rusty due to lack of match practice 😁

If that’s aimed at @BP1960it’s unfair. He’s quite entitled to point out that the Sutton fans have been stuffed and that matches were played on heavy pitches in the past.

Hugely embarrassing if Curzon Ashton can get a game on and we can’t.

Why? Different pitch, different place. Yes games took place on heavy pitches in the past (particularly 40 to 50 years ago) and this ref didn’t let the game go ahead. Nothing to do with the club.

Incidentally. Colchester v Rochdale called off at 2.30 pm.

Perhaps.....but criticising groundstaff and accusing them of inactivity without knowing any facts is as well.

The pitches near me have been waterlogged all week so no real surprise it was called off !

Happens to all clubs.  Chances are it's because we cocked it up as the club is not entitled to the benefit of any doubt.

The  snow and rain was forecast well in advance giving the club ample time to prevent a postponement.

Maybe no coincidence the last very good groundsman left the club.

Perhaps he's gone to Curzon Ashton who managed to get their match on?
