Booked. It's encouraged me to do an overnighter, albeit on a very early one home.

Stadium's miles out of town as well.

They did put shuttle buses on last time, I've now booked hotel as well for the Tuesday night 🙈

Another 4 of us have too!

We need to find a pub back in the centre to collectively celebrate our 9th away win on the bounce.

Hopefully with rail strikes ending 5th February this won't be affected Brad.

I hope so, every away game we have looked at on the train there’s been strikes. Something will go wrong it always does

Can I ask why you and your crowd  seem to take issue with Matt Dean ? Just curious.

Must have it wrong then. Just remember something about a bus chanting about him or something. He does good for the club.

Wasn’t me who was on that train. Few of the younger lads that, who started coming on the cosch. like I said I have no problem with Matt.

Fair enough, was just genuinely curious. I know you both worked together to get AL and MO out the club. My understanding and interpretation was incorrect, apologies.

Drank in the Maltings last season. Round the corner from the station and was a very decent pub, especially if like me you drink Cider.

Bit weird that a pub called The Maltings specialises in cider

Does Real Ale too Dave, but like most Real Ale pubs also has a nice line ciders.

Think Maltings may refer to the location too.

Used to be called the Lendal  Bridge  when I moved there. And, apparently , originally the Railway Tavern ( near to the current and original York stations)  Maltings became its name in the 90s.

Tickets in the home end are on sale for this. They've blocked off the same areas behind the goal and on the side as last year so assume we'll have the same allocation - which won't be enough and will lead to exactly the same issues with away fans in the home end as last season.

How many tickets did they give us last season? With it being a Tuesday night there won't be as much demand, would have thought that some won't bother as the ground was ticked off last season.

Think was around 1500. I agree the novelty has gone but we're also on a promotion push.
