There are so many of us and just as the Tories are moving the balance of taxation away from workers (broadly speaking NIC payers) to pensioners (who pay no NIC) the Latics want us old ones to pay a larger proportion of gate income. And rightly so. In what other line of business would you charge significantly less than your direct competitors? Halifax are charging £18 in a few weeks, and the cheapest at Rochdale is £15 in the standing sections.
