RoyleArmy1994
Not like any of us wanted to go Wembley anyway... To point out, Bristol City won both the league title and JPT last season!
doctor evil
Bristol city were the best team in the division, we're not. Would i like us to go to wembley, yeah. Would i rather we win in the league than the JPT, definitely. Edited September 1, 2015 by doctor evil
the_mighty_bosh
They also spent well over a million in transfer fees. Would love to see us at Wembley as I never have before, but the bigger disappointment short term is that back up players didn't really stake their claim for a starting place. Wardie
Although it is by no means a disaster, although Corney may see it otherwise, a loss is a loss and the apparent desire to win the match just was not there...which rather makes a mockery of Kelly's comments in the 'Chron. BP1960
Sounded like the usual backwards/sideways passing, two holding midfielders, and one up front again. Does the coach know anything else?, he seems at odds with the manager's philosophy of expansive football.
Blue_Guru
We trawl out the same comments every year about this competition...the reality is we should aim to win every match what ever the importance...the teams lack of effort/desire today have made Kelly's LP comments look daft. He said the JPT wasn't the only cup we had the chance of getting to Wembley and he believes in fairies :-| So FA Cup winners it is

oafc-latics
If we're not going to win it, better to go out first round. Get a result against Bradford and this result will be forgotten.
BP1960
why is it the coaches team out there tonight and not the managers? It was the manager's team, coaches methods, it's up to the manager though to sort it out if the tactics don't match his philosophy. ajw65
Bradford, just like Shrewsbury have twice now, will out muscle us and make us look beaten before we even kick off.. Another thing, why does it take us about 10 mins to get into the game - we could have been 3 down (at least) in most games we've played this season? longtimeblue
At least I'm not going to waste annual leave this year by booking the Monday off after the final "just in case".

I made this point after our last home game with Shrewsbury. Edited September 1, 2015 by melia

The players heads are probably filled with a containing game, so much so they hand the initiative to the opposition.

BP1960
why is it the coaches team out there tonight and not the managers? IMO he has a big influence, and it shows by the way the tactics are exactly the same as when he was coaching and in charge last season. LeylandLatic
Sheridan would get this lot winning games Sheridan had a great team and didn't win promotion, in fact only scraped the play offs where we were massacred by Blackpool. Oldham fans are obsessed with the past.
daniel
Just back, dont care if it's the JPT, there were around 100 of us made the trip and to be frank it was a :censored:ing disgraceful performance. They should have won 6-0, we had 0 good chances, the midfield was absymal, stray pass after stray pass, about 3000 offsides. I regretted going after 10 mins.
