LuSiVe_CFC
Told you we'd roll over for you. You owe us a Mansfield beating now though ;) Hope the guy who got ambulanced away makes a full recovery.

disjointed
Coleman :censored: B Wilson :censored: Mills :censored: Dieng :censored: Yeates :censored: Poleon :censored: Kelly :censored: Higdon :censored: Super Oldham song :censored: Manager more clueless than his predecessor Can't defend Can't pass Can't control a football Can't take a free kick Can't attack with tempo From someone who normally is quite restrained with his posts that is quite alarming, although it worked out well in the end
TheBigDog
What a second half. Best I've seen us all season. Positive. 10 shots 5 on target - double that of the home side. The right direction.

NewBlue
We're playing a team who've lost 8 on the bounce next week, want rid of their manager - who will receive a very hostile reception - and we've played out of our skin second half. Send them out with some attacking spirit, Dunn. Just get at them. We lost all momentum of Swindon by setting up negatively at Spotland. Never a better time to have an atmosphere at BP than next Saturday.
Simpo
Real chance to turn our home form, and therefore our whole season, right round with these 3 home games. Recent history says we will not take it, but the chance is there.

Hands on
I know it will upset some people but we scored both goals after Winney was substituted on 70 minutes. Now of course you could withdraw your 'best' player in a wonderful tactical ploy but I rather doubt it! Seems Rasulo who replaced Higdon made the difference - Poleon and that much maligned striker who often gets to play midfield did it again. Wonderful unexpected result - more points than games played! Bring on Mansfield.....

the_mighty_bosh
Cassidy or Murphy, when he's back. Higdon has gone cold. I've been wanting us to give Murphy a chance and I feel we haven't treated him well, however I saw him today after he's had a run of games and he looked like a bang average league two player. Bring on Mansfield..... Rasulo replacing Higdon was the difference. I thought Philly should have been replaced before he scored, second half he was supposed to be right wing yet was consistently inside rather than providing an option out wide. Whether that was because of Dunn's instructions or not, I don't know. However it gave us no option to strech the play down that wing until Wilson overlapped and several moves lost momentum through it. Fair play to him for the goal though, it became clear that Lee struggled in the conditions with shots that were low and bouncing abit. Hopefully the fan taken ill is ok. NewBlue
I don't think Murphy's ever going to be somebody who visibly stands out in a game, but he'll probably be there if you put the ball in the box. Reckon Poleon and him up top wouldn't actually work that badly...

What is so wrong with BP? Its the way teams set up against us, as well as our formations, Barnsley however now play 4-4-2, this should be ideal for Rasulo (if he starts) to exploit, I'm backing him to score a goal or two in this one. Mansfield I'm not sure about. Edited November 14, 2015 by BP1960

Diego_Sideburns
What a roller-coaster of emotions experienced this afternoon! First we had a minute’s silence before kick-off in solidarity with the people of France. Then a fellow Latics supporter was taken seriously ill, to the extent of paramedics being involved and Latics fan Kenny administering CPR, with all supporters moved out of that section of the crowd and a sheet being used to screen him. While this was going on, the chanting amongst Latics supporters became subdued understandably, only to be broken by a minute’s applause for the late Marton Fulop. Football was put into perspective! The goal conceded was another defensive howler, and as the performance of the players got worse, the dark atmosphere amongst Latics fans boiled over with a scuffle over a difference of opinion. After what I’m told was four minutes of CPR, it worked – well done Kenny! On the pitch Latics continued to perform like an under 12s’ team and they left the field to boos at half-time. The second half continued with nothing for the fans to get excited about, and when eventually Latics produced a shot, the fans celebrated it as if it was a goal. Then we had “let’s pretend we’ve scored” and the black humour was successful in raising smiles out of the desperation experienced so far. In response to a question, Tommy Lee pointed to where he keeps his caravan, as Latics fans continued to make their own amusement. Then the pitch was lit up with the arrival of Giorgio Rasulo. In no time he had produced a bit of magic and a shot, which Tommy Lee could only push to the side of the goal, where Poleon snapped it up for the equaliser. Suddenly the black cloud was lifted over our part of the ground and the fans raised the roof. Then it happened, with Poleon ordered to leave the field to repair a boot malfunction, Latics got that long-awaited slice of luck. Philliskirk shot from distance at Tommy Lee only for Tommy to prove he is human after all, as he pushed the ball onto the post for it to rebound off him into the net. The faithful traveling support’s prayers were answered and the jubilation was complete with a rendition of ‘Jingle Bells’. It’s rare for the depths of despair and the heights of exhilaration to be experienced so close together, but it can happen supporting Latics. It’s happened before and today was one of those days again. I hope the supporter makes a full recovery and is able to continue his support – we need all we can get.
