NewBlue
All a bit unnecessary I'd have thought. That said, don't mind a different kick off time every so often.
Diego_Sideburns
Wouldn't be surprised if the same applies for the Sheff. Utd. game
Simpo
This will be because of the idiots fighting in Horwich before the reverse fixture.

NIKI1234
4500 Bolton or 4500 Sheffield United, I wonder what the thinking is behind one being moved and not the other

Break The Silence
I think it's a great idea. I'm at a retirement doo at the night so it gives me 2 1/2 hours extra to play with...
Latics and England
Presumably this is a response to the trouble in Horwich before the game at their place.
NewBlue
Presumably this is a response to the trouble in Horwich before the game at their place. Stick it at 6am and you'd still get the same lads doing the same things.

Hands on
If they are concerned about behaviour why have they swapped ends so we have to walk through the away fans behind the JFS. That extra money will partly go in a bigger policing bill.
Dick_Valentine
Can anyone explain why this is on the Saturday and everybody else is playing Friday? Then down to Brizzle on Monday and Bolton play again Tuesday?

The original fixture was scheduled for Easter Saturday, to get it moved to Good Friday would presumably require the agreement of both clubs. Having gotten their Easter Monday game moved to the next day due to TV (I think) or possibly police advice, they won't be arsed about moving our game to Good Friday. Incidentally their opponents on the Tuesday (Bury) play on Maundy Thursday, possibly TV related (Bury v Rochdale). The coppers at Horwich station when we played Bolton (same day as Rochdale v Bury) were from Merseyside, there might not be the scope for a similar arrangement this time.
