I think it must be like his version of safety blanket, the people who he lives with are forced to wear ear defenders and his neighbours have complained to the council. It will have been long enough now that most people will have realised just how detremental this is towards creating an atmosphere. Indeed, the very song this board is named after no longer exists solely because of a selfish out of tune attention seeker.
