Indeed. I think another highlight might be watching him come out in Stanley Mathews shorts that he’s brought from home.

Rees Mogg would set a kit trend by playing in a stiff collared shirt, old school tie and perfectly creased shorts. Socks would be hand me downs from his kids.

Surely the socks would have been crocheted by nanny.

I didn't go to the game like many others. I didn't know the score and watched the match on Wednesday. The first 10 minutes we were all over them but the quality of football after that was poor. Any decent team would have been 3 up at half time against us. Walsall have the same problem as us up top. The lad on loan from Fulham was no better than our front 2. Dino has obviously told our fullbacks to get forward more. Iacovitti hardly ever crossed the half way line under Banide. It was a great run from him beating players for fun along the bye line and a good pull back for Wilson. I think Segbe hurt himself scoring his goal (maybe a twisted knee) which may rule him out on Saturday. Roy kept insisting that the reason for the poor crowd was the fact we could watch it on Ifollow, he thought "we had all paid a tenner" he said. No Athleticos their, I guess they are boycotting until the drummer is back. Does anyone know if he is banned for 4 home games, or all games?

As for Mark Beck, these are his stats on Soccerbase. Something wrong at Darlington though 19 goals in 3 games. Sign him up!

Mods- Is casual homophobic language acceptable on here now?

Probably not.  This isn’t a casual homophobic reference though.

One of the beauties of the English language is that the same word has a number of different meanings depending on the context.

This is simply not true and you know it.

Damn! On the ballot paper, two choices spelt out plain and simple.

Remain = stay as we were

Leave = out of the customs union, out of the single market, which inturn means an end  to freedom of movement (although this shouldn't have been an issue if our only incoming was from the EU)

take back control of our own borders (again no chance of that) go back to making our own laws (again, some of a certain demeanour don't recognise them anyway) stop any further payments to the EU, take back control of our fishing grounds, be able to trade with any country we like.

Seems to me that one most certainly outweights the other and yes that's what we voted for

"A little learning" is indeed "a dangerous thing !"

The actual EU referendum question on the ballot paper.

Here it is. Please read it very carefully.

Remain a member of the European Union

Leave the European Union

(Unfortunately the image of th actual ballot paper did not upload).

So a very simple question but what does it mean?

Well, it means: Should the UK remain a member of the EU or leave the EU? End of.

So if we answer ‘Leave’, it means stopping ‘free movement’? No, where does it mention that? Read the question.

And getting out of the single market (which is separate to EU membership)? No. Read the question.

But if we answer ‘Leave’, surely it means the UK stops paying a contribution to trade with the EU? No. Read the question.

But if we answer ‘Leave’, surely it means we stop all those silly and expensive regulations? No, where does it say that on the ballot paper? Read the question.

The question was solely about giving up (or not) membership of the European Union.

I think you'll find each one of those conditions constitute to being a member country of the great E.U club.

Regardless of leaving with a deal or not  we are not obliged to pay them the £39 billion, this is purely 'goodwill'

I think the real figure to fulfill our obligations is nearer £7 billion but without the full £39 billion, the E.U will collapse due to the smaller indebted member countries and their main player has just gone into recession.

The UK leaving is equivalent to 19 other members leaving all at once, hence why they're falling over backwards to make sure the extensions are indefinite.
