Garrity is a strange one.  He gets up and down the pitch well, and will definitely get a goal or two once we start looking for him.  He hardly ever wins the ball back though, and loses the ball too much to play as a holding midfielder.

If we had a more solid player there, we could play Bahamboula in a free role.

Still not convinced at all by McCalmont, but not sure we've got a better alternative.

If Jombati is fit, he should be starting over Hamer at wing back. He's no centre back, that's for sure, but he offers much more out wide than Hamer going forward, and is just as fast covering back.

Hamer's played well in the last couple of games, particularly at wing-back against Bolton.

Think dropping him now would send out a strange message.

But for poor finshing, Hamer could have cost us three, maybe four against Carlisle in the first half alone. He just warched as the Carlisle player actually stretched to get it out to Toure who clipped the bar with his shot. It appeared to be a cannot be arsed attitude.

The player could have sat on the ball, had a five minute conversation with his teammates and then walked over to Toure with the balk before Hamer realised the danger.

Not even a feigned attempt.

His defensive qualities leave a lot to be desired

He has no defensive quality, he gets beat every single game by his man. Leeds still interested in the shite Rory Delap ?

According to a post on Twitter there is one player in the first team squad who has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Which player would you NOT want it to be?

For me it would be Piergianni 🤒

There are several of our players who don’t get close enough to anybody to catch it?

Maybe a tad harsh but can only assume he hasn't been watching so I stick by it 👻

Merely expressing an opinion based on home games all last season and the half decent ifollow coverage this.

Not too many 5 star performances at BP last season, but Newport was special.

Zak's goal was outstanding, set up by a terrific run and cross by CBJ.

Zak and Danny were very good that day.

So, for the avoidance of doubt, I do clap the team on, shout and scream when we score, sit in the main stand and always think we should have two strikers in the side, with a mentality to go at the opposition for 90 minutes, no ticker-tacker side to side then back to the keeper nonsense.

I also give credit to Tom Hamer for his contribution, which is also against the shouty 'official' narrative of some self appointed OWTB opinion leaders.

This feels pivotal tomorrow.

Grind out a win and that’ll be 7 points from the last 9 with the whipping boys to come on Tuesday.  Promotion form.

Fail to win tomorrow and that’s 1 win in 8. Relegation form!

yep a big game for us. 5th home game, A point absolute min as going 5 at home without winning is poor. Results suggest we going to be an away side by look of it but we won’t get anywhere if we have dreadful home form all year

God I hope not.

Clarke will be like a lost sheep without Pidge.
