Bowden joins us for Spurs, but is now isolating. Signed goalkeeper, but can't play him. Signed goalkeeper, but he's injured. We have one recognised striker plus one who is always injured. We sign another player who is apparently a striker, but he is beyond shit. Sign player who has never been injured, he's out for a month. Sign experienced centre-back, but i'm not sure what's happened to him. Lost first game in 89th minute. Lost second game in 96th minute. Get first half battering from team that hasn't won a game in several months. We're 2-0 down after 12 minutes against a team we beat 5-2 not that long ago. The only way is up...or maybe not. But it's not enough to make up for all the players who can't control a ball, and can't pass. Add to that to a pub league goalkeeper, and the situation is desperate. Defer your short term impulse to ‘clap on the lads’ so future generations have a club to support. If you’re not prepared to do that then you just look inauthentic - your main source of disgruntlement is at current results on the pitch rather than the way the club is ran.
