Oh Heck C-Beck
If Eyres is on there Sheridan has to be surely? Sheridan played with his dodgy knees in our hour of need and then managed us including getting us into the play offs.
disjointed
Groves for me, but surely TP if it is going to be someone from recent years

Bristolatic
Is he any relation to the Ian Wood on the list already Bollocks. Missed that. How about Andy Goram. Failing that, George Hardwick, but David Ashworth is a bloody good shout. And the blokes who met in The Featherstall, was it, that started it all. adamoafc
Tony Philliskirk for me! He has done the club a service not many others would! He has never chased the money as he could have done and has brought through some fantastic talent along the way which has helped our club massively financially. Been an unsung hero for a long time and feel he deserves this more than the rest!! Get voting for TP!

oafc-latics
Duxbury? He was 1 or 2 seasons before i started watching, so i've only seen Eyres from the list, but if he was voted our Greatest Captain (I think?) he should be up there. wogghead1
I think we're all missing a point here. Does this mean that the stand is actually going to be built? Booooo to me for bringing the mood down!!!
jimsleftfoot
I cannot believe that the LEGEND that was Alan Groves is not top of this list!!! Although I admire all 9 on the list, several (in my opinion) are not in the same class as Groves. Philly is also a good shout - excellent servant of the club - been there through good times and bad - legend in the making! I would have like to have seen Groves play but: Palmer 141 Goals Ritchie 107 Groves 12 I presume he got a few assists?

rudemedic
In addition to some names mentioned, particularly the older ones and the ones who have been/were at the club longer than 15 years. How about a legendary fan? (I'm not going to nominate one as I don't know any possible contenders well enough to do so).

Bristolatic
Bristol....... The nine names on the club's list, all of whom fully deserve their club legend status, are: Joe Royle Andy Ritchie Roger Palmer Bert Lister Bobby Johnstone Eric Gemmell Ian Wood David Eyres Jimmy Frizzell To have your say on who you think should join these illustrious names, vote by one of the following ways. I know, I know. Stop shouting at me.

JoeLatics
Should be someone from this millennium I think, anyone under 25 or so would have only ever seen Eyresy off the current list (have literally never even heard of a few of those!!!) - torn between Shez and TP myself. TheBigDog
George Hardwick. I'm astonished he isn't in the first nine. He is a Middlesbrough legend and in fact has a statue outside the Riverside.
