thetramfixer
Sat in with directors and Alan Hardy here today! ... New manager maybe??
robboman
Could also explain why none of the loan players are playing?
24hoursfromtulsehill
Pics? So many sightings of potential managers in the director's box. Is there any space for Barry and his heavies?

Guest Stanley30
Would be delighted with rosler
sjk2008
Why else would he be here, and taking notes? Really? Sheff Utd aren't going to be shipping that fraud Clough out until the playoffs are done with, so it's a bit early to be taking notes on them. Simpo
He applied before he got the Brentford job, and is known to love the north west. Would be a great coup in my opinion!
disjointed
That wouldn't be the worst appointment, hope that he has got the job.
the_mighty_bosh
A manager that I thought would be out of our reach, so it would be great if we got him. Surely it would mean links with City would get stronger too.
steveoafc
Could this be in any way linked to the warburton takeover rumour?
jsslatic
Was my number one choice when LJ went. Would be over the moon. ST details late, probably because of stand uncertainty but perhaps we'll have a double announcement. Think would be good for ST sales. Gaz_Oafc
I'd be delighted with Rosler, thought he'd be 'above us' and with all the talk of Yates it'd make it an even better appointment. Sat with hardy & so near to the other directors and us leaving out all of our loan players would be too much of a coincidence...surely? Flemboy
Thought he was way out of our pay limits.I would be chuffed to bits if we got him here.
aaronoafc
Surely this is the chap then? As sjk said, Why else would he be sat at the match, with our directors, taking notes on the game... Would be a terrific appointment. I thought he would be out of our price range. Is this a sign the budget may be half decent next season? Can't imagine he would come for pittance. I realise he ballsed up after Brentford but imagine a few higher end league 1/championship sides would have him if offered.
hollandspies
In 10 years and 343 games as a manager, he has achieved an impressive 43% win ratio!
GlossopLatic
It's not unusual for people in football to be in the directors area so don't take it as gospel. Plus he was sat with Alan Hardy who knows loads of people in football and corney wasn't there. I would imagine that if a deal is to be done corney will be at least present. I would be over the moon with Rosler as an appointment it would be a statement of intent, but let's see what happens. We usually announce these things on Sunday don't we? NewBlue
Don't wanna piss on anybodies chips but he did dog:censored:e at the Plastics with a lot of money in his last job, and I won't be under any illusions that if he comes we really are only a stepping stone. I'd be very happy with him still. Turned down 1860 Munich not long back and had Brentford playing some class football in this league. A genuine coup but I'll not be setting my expectations too high. palmer1
He got sacked from a club destined for our league. If we are a stepping stone it will be because we are doing well

Coyle and Mackay both get teams promoted from Championship and still struggled there, suggests something else is wrong in the background there. Would be very happy with Rosler, got Brentford playing some good football and started off the rise to where they are now.
Gaz_Oafc
Was half expecting it to be mentioned on RadioManc after the game as they'd have contacts with both us & rosler and a reporter at the game but no mention of him (up until me getting out of the car anyway). Jimmy Wagg was asking if we'd give it to Holden & Tony P permanently or have A.N Other.
