the_mighty_bosh Posted July 23, 2015 Share Posted July 23, 2015 Saw Sheff Utd play at Exeter tonight. Baxter played 60 minutes in a central midfield pairing. Quite a low key role but he was spraying good passes all over the pitch for the time he was on. They looked much improved from when I saw them last season despite having mostly the same team. Adkins knows what he's doing and seems to have kept things simple: 4-4-2 and every player knows their role so they let their abilities do the talking. Can't say I like praising Sheff Utd's fans but taking 200 down here for a Thursday night in pre-season is a top effort. Finally, slightly o/t but Exeter to win League Two at 33/1 could be worth a chucking a couple of quid on. A very settled and experienced team with some good threats up front.
