Chris Richard
You've answered your own question. Which one, there were several!
Lee Sinnott
Quite. There was a 0-3 against Grimsby that was definitely worse. And a 0-3 v Hartlepool on a Friday night...
disjointed
What about Yeovil at home last season, that was dire.
ChaddySmoker
He had a decent game today all-round. One of the better out of a poor bunch. You definitely don't cheer when Winchester scores. Why should every post be about bloody Winchester? He was benched today as a few people thought he should be
opinions4u
Why should every post be about bloody Winchester? He was benched today as a few people thought he should be I'd have played him ahead of Philliskirk. We'd have drawn 0-0 but the football would have been prettier. Hands on
The atmosphere at home games is unlikely to be anything like the noise we generate at away games until the new North Stand opens and we have settled seating positions. The failure to open the stand for the first home league game is going to cause a lot of moaning and resentment from those moved about. I applaud the RRE supporters who just got on with being moved last year. Pollen is a problem as I know to my own cost - lets hope he can be an increasing problem for visiting teams! archiecat
Pollen is a problem as I know to my own cost - lets hope he can be an increasing problem for visiting teams! What has Pollen ever done to you? it was his manager's decision to play him on the left, even though he only has a right foot !
HarryBosch
How often have we been Fleetwood in recent years and lost? Too many to count. We've been to Fleetwood once. And we won.
the_mighty_bosh
Pollen is a problem as I know to my own cost - lets hope he can be an increasing problem for visiting teams! I sympathise that you suffer from hayfever, but it's not fair to wish it on visiting teams. Seriously though, the atmosphere might not be great at BP, but after going to Northampton today and hearing them play recorded applause over the tannoy for substitutions, I can say it could definitely be worse. HarryBosch
It was :censored:e. We won. We've got 4 points. I'm very happy with our start to the season and am looking forward to Saturday. I'm even intending to spend Tuesday evening trying in vain to get Latics Player to work... Edited August 16, 2015 by HarryBosch
no1laticsfan
Iv never known so many fans be so upset over winning a game of football. We were the better team until the 80th minute and should of scored more. We didn't, so what we still won!!! Move on.
melia
It was scrappy and we will take it. I don't think we are difficult to beat though... Yet
Snookmeister
The first half was poor - the defence played like they'd not seen a football before in the first 20 minutes and we were lucky that Fleetwood couldn't shoot/Coleman played a blinder. But how many times have you come away from BP saying "we were all over them, should have had 5, and they get one chance and score"?? So it's nice to be on the other end of that for once. The second half was an improvement, with a little better ball retention and some actual attacking intent. Croft was his usual self, loads of energy but end product lacking. Jones was one of the worst performers for me though - terrible distribution - I just hope it's a case of getting his sharpness back after being out. Poleon wasn't as bad as some are making out. For a right footer on the left, it's always difficult. A bit nerve wracking at the end with the penalty box pinball, but we managed to hold on to the points. I'll take it, obviously, but there's some serious improvement to be done if we're going to have anything other than the usual season of looking over our shoulders. A big shout must go to the catering "facilities" which managed to run out of pretty much everything just as the half time whistle went in the RRE. It's bad enough there's only one food outlet for roughly two thousand people, but at last have things to sell. Cretins.
GravityGrave
Croft needs a better full back to support him .
melia
Croft needs a better full back to support him . Him and brown looked more of a threat than he and Wilson. Think is was Brown who got our first shot away in first half after linking up with Croft

ShireBlue
Didn't play particularly well, still won. Atmosphere wasn't that bad, had a lot worse over the years. Went in the RRE for the first time in years. No pies at half time. Back to the paddock for me.

Fruitygoo
We were the better side for about 10 minutes in the first half and a short period early in the second half. They were the better team for 60-70% of the game.

GlossopLatic
Crickey some bollocks on here! You can tell some people can't wait for that first defeat of the season don't worry it's coming. We played crap and won we are clearly a work in progress it will take several months of tinkering and tweaking.
ChaddySmoker
That was a hell of a kick from Coleman for the goal and some people were moaning about him kicking it too long!
