What's the running total of money made from our FA Cup run so far, then?

£75,000 + £6750 from TV

£36,000 + £54,000 Prize Money

Plus extra sponsorship and gate receipts, we will get at least 45%, it might be 50/50.

At least £171,750 (Plus the sponsorship and gate receipts)

That’s Maouche’s wages covered for another week 👍

For those interested, this is the prize money from each round.

I’d much rather have a very winnable tie than one where we get loads of gate receipts. Although there are some where we might get both (United, for example 😉).

Based on that a winnable game isn’t to be sniffed at! Then a big club away, gate results and tv money. Crazy to think utd away would be massive for us, but they get double that every home game

£90,000 + £81,000 TV money 😊

Didn't we play Liverpool again the season after that in 3rd round ?

Yep. Lost 2-0, Tarky scored an own goal. Johnson gave Rodgers 5 minutes when he'd barely played for weeks, barely played after, his Dad just happened to be Liverpool's manager.

Feels like a life time since we made the 3rd was it forest then Liverpool them Everton season ? Or more recent than that ? Singe?

2014 at Anfield was the last time we reached the 3rd round.

Its not a coincidence that since then we have had struggles to pay the wages and had several winding up petitions.

If Lemsagams plan is to get the club back on an even keel financially before trying to take it forward, this will be coming as a very welcome boost.

What’s Utd away worth? U know we will get Bradford at home and lose in the last min

Back of a fag packet maths here Lets conservatively base it on a 60000 attendance figure. United fans aren that happy at the moment but I reckon we would take a good 7000 or so for this one.

60000 x £30 = £1,800,000

45% of that is is £810,000 take away the cost such as police matchday staff etc and you probably looking at £700,000 add in a likely tv appearence which are worth £144,000 for the 3rd round so you are looking at £844,000 additional sponsorship could take it upto a cool £1mill a replay or a victory will almost certainly mean another tv appearence will take it even higher.

The money would be hugely significant and important for the long term future of the club.

However

It would be completely insignificant to what winning at Old Trafford would be like which would be absolutely freaking priceless!

Might have something to do with that big white elephant that the club don’t own, but paid for, also known as the North Stand.

Think we would still be having most of those problems if we were still a 3 sided stadium.

You could argue we'd be rid of TTA's if the OEC hadn't been built or we could still be having our pants pulled down by Corney either way for me the OEC has created more problems than its solved.
