I had to switch off the internet feed because I had been sucked-in by the tension of the match but it appears that Obadeyi had a good game and plenty of influence. Not what we expected on his arrival but a huge plus if he carries on and even improves with game time. A shame for Fondop, fingers crossed for the lad. A massive three points. I feel Sheridan can build on this, hopefully to the extent of dragging the team clear. It is a big ask of both him and the team but yesterday showed the character which exists within the squad. Think we will pull clear under shez but its going to be a long road with a lot of ups and downs along the way would prefer to be safe with games to go tho it would be outstanding to goto the bin dippers confirm our saftey and ruin there chances of promotion

So he mustve failed those tests The England player passed and Fondop didn’t. Anyone with any sort of bang to the head gets taken off for a head injury assessment in Rugby Union. I think the tests are fairly similar and have been used in other sports for a while.

Others on here will have a better idea than I have if our medical staff can currently provide that enhanced care. Based on 20 minutes we would all like him back. I hope for his sake he recovers soon but he needs to take as long as he needs. I think we will meet the standard for enhanced care setting, as would most professional clubs, but after the debacle with Rogers and recruitment issues I’m less certain. 6 days is based on the player passing every stage first time, something that isn’t guaranteed so I think it will be touch and go if Fondop is available for Newport, but he’s going to be out for Bristol Rovers. I’m not sure he would. There are strict criteria for the 6 day return to play. 1. is there needs to be a doctor with training and experience in the management of concussion in sport available to closely supervise the players care. 2 there needs to be a structured concussion management programme in place before the injury. This needs to include baseline SCAT5 tests so there is something to compare the test results after injury. Is it likely these tests were done by this inexperienced crew since his arrival and before the match started? The player needs to have access to a multidisciplinary team including neuropsychology/neurology/neurosurgery specialists and other clinicians as required to supervise return to play. Any chance this is all in place?

Monty Burns
The more l see that goal (its over 100 now l reckon) the more l'm thinking Luamba there does everything he actually means to do in a two touch finish. Takes a touch in the only way he could, then obvs its a bit higher than he intended but an absolutely amazing scissor finish.

AndyBevan
Hi, I'm a reporter for ITV News Central in Birmingham and I'm working on a tory about the 50th anniversary of the release of MOD, which is next week (Fri Feb 18th). It was written and performed by a band from Coventry, which is in our news patch.I understand it's still played at Oldham Athletic home matches and I'm looking for a Latic to maybe talk about it on camera for my piece. Could be done on Zoom as I'm in Birmingham.Would anyone on here be interested in doing something? It would be pre-recorded, not live. I've already messaged Diego Sideburns but not sure if the message went through as I'm not a forum member.I'm on 07774 886397 or andy.bevan@itv.com if someone could let me know ASAP! Cheers!
