If we play 3 I'd be happy with any 3 from Yarney, Hogan, Sutton and McGahey probably in that order.

At rightback we have Sutton, Yarney and Shelton so options there as well, I still think we may bring in a right back but we do have options.

Irrespective of whether Yarney stays, I still believe that we need to sign a top class centre back.

Someone like Shaun Hobson at Southend would fit perfectly 👍

We also need to bring in a specialist right back/wing back if we are serious about winning this league 😃

l'd put RB ahead of CB on the priority. if we lined up first match with a back four of Kerching Hogan Sutton New Decent-Guy then l wouldnt panic.

however, early indications lead me to expect both and writing typing out gives me a little buzz 😁

Not seen any mentioned.  Presumably not Wrexham or Notts County

No, one I've heard is Salford, ok they look good now, but they haven't got the long term potential we have IMO.

I can't see Yarney being offered much more than here anyway.

If Yarney wants to move from a club on the up to one on the down it's up to him.

Hope he stays and repays the loyalty we showed on rescuing him from oblivion.

He doesn't owe us shit. We offered him a contract and he took it. He did a good job, which we paid him for. He's in literally zero debt to the club in any way whatsoever.

If they're offering more money he'll go.  When the longest most footballers (unless you're at Chelsea) get offered is a two year contract then long term potential is pretty irrelevant.

Thats a great move by the club as I diont think he was treated right by 'those who shall not be named' and would love him to be as successful as he was as a player with the academy.

If he had been he'd be in a minority of one

Brilliant news. Great player, great coach and top bloke. He's one of our own and I'm really chuffed about it. What those bastards did in sacking him sums them up. His return also sums things up as they stand now. Excellent.
