Well, you know what to do to encourage such predictions.....
Don't start this pisspotical nonsense again. I've told you and told you, IT. WON'T. HAPPEN.
When is the last time the house of @jorvik_latic & @maddog underwent a random drugs test?
What they do in their own time in their own house is none of your business.
Be careful. Pride comes before a fall. Just saying.

Yet some of the clueless will still tell you Placide was the better option.
I don't think so

No one

Than Wilson or Ruddy, which wasn't difficult

Surridge if fit enough to play should be a starter, bring one of either Miller or COG on if he runs out of steam.
Most definitely not. It's the last thing you do with a player coming back from injury if you don't have pace off the bench. If he can only last 30 minutes or so, use him sensibly against tiring defenders and the same goes for when he can manage 45 minutes. Once he can do 60, then start him so that hopefully, he's done, or helped to do, the damage that will allow the subs to simply control the game. A little bit of slowly, slowly, and you'll have him firing for 90 minutes rather than being knackered trying to keep up the pace of the first 45-60 minutes.

Here's a surprise; no-one selected Branger_Engone as first Latics scorer. Can't imagine why.
Highest total points scorer at this stage is @Dave_Og in League 1 with 87.
@jorvik_latic top scored in the Premier League with 9 points, which makes him , taking over from @Ex_pat. There were some decent attendance predictions, the best being +8 from @DavidCollinge. If only @disjointed had gone for his traditional 1-1 final score, he wouldn't be in the relegation zone (@lookersstandandy alert!). The 6 points scored by @GravityGrave weren't enough to take him off the bottom of the pile.
In the Championship, 9 points was once again the top score, this time by @BP1960, taking him up 3 places into the last play-off spot . The bottom three stay as they are (mainly because none of them posted a prediction!) as @LaticsPete moves into the second automatic promotion slot at the expense of @yarddog73. Still in trouble if we go to a 4th division next season are @pjkent and @youngen
The big story in League 1 is @maximus1267 hitting the attendance spot on for the first 20 pointer of the season . He didn't pick up any other points, otherwise he may have gone higher than 4th. There was no movement in the top three or bottom seven, whilst @Macca squeaked 3 points by missing the attendance by exactly 100 and @Lee Sinnott's choice of Edmundson failed to produce the goods this time.

Speechless. Incompetent to the extreme. Bunn got everything wrong today. Surridge had them on toast before they scored and he should have grabbed one. The fact Tranmere are in the play offs tells you everything you need to know about this league. Decent manager in charge and positive tactics would have seen us win comfortably.
The mindset at this club staggers me. Cheered off for a point when it should have been 3. We’ll never progress.
"Speechless", followed by 76 (I think) words. Go on, then. List below what you would have done differently or, list everything Bunn got wrong. Why does Tranmere being in the play offs tell you everything about League 2? Plenty to have a go at there; have a crack at it.

Old age or not, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have let the Hampton player get round the back of you so easily
I was a goalkeeper. I'd have raced out and taken the ball, him, the corner flag and probably the linesman as well. Sort that one out, ref.

Yes, no idea why I said Hunt. Old age strikes again.

Baxter got lucky with his booking.
3 minutes ago, kowenicki said:“Successful deception”. Jose was booked at the time.
Call me biased, but I've looked at both incidents a number of times.
For their penalty, the light touch from Rob Hunt wouldn't have knocked a five year old over so, if Miller-Rodney fell that dramatically, he was conning the ref. Can't deny the touch, though, but not enough for a penalty.
The Baxter incident, I'm still not sure about. I can understand why the ref thought it was a dive, but I think that there is a possibility Baxter saw the keeper coming feet first and tried to hurdle the keeper's legs. That probably threw him off balance, but there may have been a slight touch as well. I'm not convinced it was a deliberate dive but, as I said, I can understand the booking.
Apart from all that, the ref was an absolute anyway.

Where did you find this, FB? I can't see anything on BBC or Sky.

By an odd quirk of fate, I knew about this last Saturday. Some of you will know, and have met, my very good mate Mac.
He was chatting to a very good friend of his, Tommy Saunders, who used to be manager of Chippenham Town. Tommy told Mac that Steve Hale was Latics' new GK coach. Apparently, Tommy and Steve (who lives in Swindon) are close friends.
Welcome to Latics, Steve.

Brilliant initiative. Well done Latics. The club can be very proud of this.

Nope, still not ringing any bells. I was living in East Yorkshire at the time, but still came to BP as often as I could. It's an odd one, that.

Beats a briefcase of cash coming up from London via Train approx this time last season I suppose, better transport
Heard a story yesterday morning from a Swansea fan, and I've no reason to believe it isn't true. When they were in financial trouble and a new buyer was found, £50K was needed in something of a hurry.
The fifty grand was delivered just in time. In cash. In a Tesco carrier bag.
Not even in a briefcase.

....I'm gonna get on my soap box again and potentially incur the wrath of @maddog..... but this is top work from Paddy. He's seen the centre halves getting close to scoring in recent weeks and he's gone out on a limb and predicted Edmundson first scorer. Only predictor out of 57 to have the balls to do it..... and he only gets 3 points. He should get more reward for that. Next season, I propose 2 points for a striker, 3 for midfielder, 4 for a defender 10 for the keeper.
Don't start that bloody nonsense again. What do you want next? Predict the number of saves a keeper makes, scoring on a sliding scale? How about the direction the corner flags blow in the wind? Number of cars in the car park. Name of the driver of the last 409 to pass Sheepfoot Lane before kick off?
Bah, humbug. You'll incur the wrath of me as well as @maddog

I've been a bit busy recently, so I'm a bit later than normal with this. Anyway, here goes. Well done to @jorvik_latic in the Premier League for only missing out on attendance by -5, whilst @milnrow latics (up 4 places to 3rd) and @rudemedic (who climbs out of the relegation zone) top scored with 9 points. @GravityGrave stays rooted to the bottom as @disjointed falls into a relegation place.
9 points was the best in the Championship as well, scored by @HarryBosch (who opens up a 10 point lead at the top) and @Handsy (who just moves out of the danger area). There were no predictions from @Ak's11, @daniel and @josh_latics The top 5 and bottom three stay as they were.
In League 1, @Lee Sinnott returned to the fold and was the only player in any division to collect points for Latics scorer. Again, 9 points was the best return, by @maddog, @mcfluff1985 and @mick26, whilst there were no predictions from @Brisbaneblue, @Kusunga_Is_God and @oafcprozac. No change in the top 6, but @Dave_Og and @maddog are neck and neck.

There's plenty of shit keepers in this division. If you don't buy a ticket you don't win the raffle.
And on this occasion, the keeper was David Forde, once first choice at Millwall for God knows how long and a regular for Wales IIRC. He's certainly not a novice, but he sure had a mare on Saturday.
