24hoursfromtulsehill
was technically drawn and we won on pens? Fair enough... ...in which case the last time we won one in normal time was what? Everton? Jesus. That's a lot of concentrating on the league we've been doing.

Diego_Sideburns
With a nip in the air last night most supporters' shirts were worn undercoat. In the first half, Dickov's preparation seemed to have sanded down much of the roughness, as the team produced flowing moves, like brush strokes running the length and breadth of the green canvas. For the goal, it was difficult to tell at the far end whether Kuqi or Taylor had applied the gloss finish. The Iron had been rusty in the first half, but in the second it created pots of chances, with only a few needing to be saved, and the rest being struck off the top and sides of the canvas. Smith's appearance as sub failed to replicate the Matt finish we saw in the League. Keiran Lee was outstanding at the back, as his timing in collapsing the Iron's easels was perfect. Reuben Reid was the artist supreme. He covered every inch of the canvas, and his paint was still running as fast at the end of the contest as it was at the start. With the result in the can, the faithful few went through the complete colour chart of Wembley songs. We were overcome with emulsion at the realisation of reaching the third round of this competition.

Not that I am overwhelmed by this draw, but it is better than no intrest in it!

Forte_Baby
Enjoyed last night you could tell how serious Dickov wants this comp to be take. One of the better performances this season also. Cannot remember a game where we had so many chances from set pieces. Diego mentioned Kieron Lee who was fantastic but i thought both Clarke and Diamond where excellent. Also some great saves from Cisak who is turning out to be an awesome keeper. Morais proberly had his best game of the season. Th other stand out player again was Rueben Reid who has to be the most imrpoved player off the season. People say he aint scoring goals but atleast three times last night he kept on playing the ball through to Kuqi, Smith or Taylor part of me wished he had just gone for goal himself. What impressed me also was are fans. For a change it seemed everyone was positive going into the game, heard no boo's and very little grief directed to any of are players. Quite bit of singing and chanting so of made wish is was just still small group of supporters who just attended every away match.
