lankylad
Seeing the iconic picture of Dave Mackay and Billy Bremner today got me wondering, who is the hardest player ever to play for latics?

Scapegoat
Not sure in the 25 years I have been following Latics that we have every been much of a hardman team...in fact sometimes our diminutive stature has been a big weakness (Saturday an example). I think the fact that Darren Sherdian got sent off in all competitions in a single season (League, FA Cup, League Cup, League Trophy and reserves) deserves a special mention. Pointon and Redmond were fairly hard as well I suppose.
blueatheart
Darren Sheridan. Whilst not a latics player, bit of a shout out to Skrtel. Staples in the head on the side of the pitch at least twice I know of...

aaronoafc
Also I would have thought Gregan until I think it was against Southend he fouled a player who got up and pretty much started on him and he looked like he :censored: his keks!
