boundaryblue80
We are 2 decades on from when fans said this when we were in the top flight. I will never understand the mentality. Hope you make it back up soon...I enjoyed the trip to Prenton Park and the rivarly we had. More likely we'll meet in League Two than it being a League One affair. pukka
Going down to go back up would be fine IF it was 100% guaranteed IF the fans stuck behind the club IF we got investment to give us a chance IF there was a proper plan in place It's not and would probably lead to disaster
yarddogs
Afraid this Tranmere fan is spot on if we go down we ain't coming back up.Miss the the games with Tranmere would say our rivalry was better with them than Rochdale. leeslover
I miss them too, but I think it's piss funny when I hear they've been beaten by the likes of Sutton United and Gateshead...I can't hear of their misfortune without thinking of that gobby pudding on their fans team (although most of them were good lads and thought he was a cock too). Don't laugh too much as it could be us losing to them in two years.

Me too, I chose Tranmere away over sorting my marriage out in 2010. Had a good piss up that day, got a taxi back from Liverpool to find my bags packed and that was that. Latics over lover any day. MAC0AFC
Tranmere was a cracking away, although it was fading off towards the end of their tenure in this division. Maybe because we were both largely :censored:e?

Neither really worthy of the word "rivalry" though
GlossopLatic
The Ronnie Moore factor spiced it up with Tranmere. Rochdale don't have that pantomime villain aspect to them.
yarddog73
They have Keith 'The big bad wolf' Hill.
HarryBosch
Actually - these Rochdale matches have become a little bit more spicy these last few times. Hill, Henderson & Gerrard playing their part...
24424
Seriously guys, from here down in the non-leagues, the prospect of playing the likes of yourselves again is sublime. We have lost about 1K off our home gates from last season, but are still averaging well, over 4K, and that's with mostly very few away fans, but how long that is sustainable is debatable. Honestly now, you may feel at a low ebb presently, but on the other hand, cherish every moment, because once it's gone it is hard to get back, tellin' ya! Flemboy
Fair comment.I cant understand any oldhamp fan wanting us to be relegated in the forlorn hope we bounce back.Try asking that fans of Stockport,Tranmere,Wrexham etc

24424
Possibly. But, until that time, I'm going to continue to laugh at Tranmere... Fair point. Tbh, I'd be the same the other way round. We should pin this up in our dressing room though!
