Instead of it almost being a secret why don't the club print flyers and have them distributed to schools and colleges in Oldham and the surrounding districts and stick some up in major stores notice boards? (most let you do this free with permission).

There's so much more the club could do, agreed.

Registering at Companies House is done online and takes 2 minutes.

For a normal company, yes. All directors of a football club have to go through Fit and Proper Persons test before being allowed on a board though.

Pretty sure it hasn’t been officially announced yet but it seems ticket prices have been slashed for 2018/19 having just taken a look at the website for the MK Dons game. I’m assuming there will be a slight (£2?) increase on the day but it’s still much better value than last season. There’s a new under 21 category - didn’t non-students over the age 18 have to pay £24 on the gate last year? That’s a massive saving.

Fair play to Abdallah (no I haven’t been hacked ).

The worst thing about this, is that anyone getting as far as that would almost certainly have been prepared to pay the previously announced price.

As others have said, more needs to be done to get them to the ticketing purchase point.

That would require Mr. Lemsagam to have a ‘Plan’. Remember that idea - it was floated about a while ago?

If I was a board director I'd be asking players to go round to schools and colleges announcing this initiative, some like Dan Garder are very good promoting in the community.

You have done your best in the past but come up against brick walls.  I appreciate that Jorvik.

You probably need some staff to do that

As I said previously, get the players involved in the community.

For example I've seen Bury players selling season tickets in the towns market hall.

Missed the boat on schools but nothing to say they can’t do it in September when schools are back. Plenty of community programmes happening over the summer that could be given details though.

To be fair, the Community Trust do a fantastic job with this, one of the best things about the club at the moment. It's other kinds of marketing they could be working on.

It's a £2 deduction to reflect our relegation. I don't think adults are going to be flocking to BP for such a saving.

The under 21 price is a good move though.

Won’t find many L2 games for £18 or less.

It's a fair price to me and you, but your average 'football' fan in Oldham would still tell you it's a rip off for League Two football.

Well they are advertising for a media assistant. I naively assumed that meant a bit of a web whizz but perhaps they just need someone with access to a photocopier and a box of drawing pins.

Just rang the ticket office at 9.30am for FG away tickets but pressing ‘1’ as advised cuts me off. I rang the club main switchboard and they are closed until 9.00am.

Are there any employees left to take the call....what the f*** is happening at our club because at the minute everything seems a complete shambles?

£4 increase on the day still. I just don't see the benefit of this? All it does is potentially deter fans from turning up on the day. Some fans can't commit beforehand due to work commitments etc...

Fairly certain EFL rules stop us going into schools in Bury, Rochdale, Huddersfield and Manchester districts.

Think we can go into Tameside though, as there's no league club in Tameside. We might be able to go into Stockport for the same reason but can't see kids commuting that distance.

Man utd can sponsor and go into schools in Oldham presumably they are not subject toEFL rules but are one of the biggest threats to our supporter base

Ashton, Stalybridge, Mossley and Middleton are good areas to target.

What is there to do for a parent and his child in the build up to the game? Only thing that will bring back fans is results. We have no other attraction.

Agree and without going back to the same discussion, same applies for a group of adults too for a decent place to socialise.
