Review of first half, look like we haven’t EVER played together,

There's what 4 starters from last season with maybe 60 Oldham games between them.

1-2 still in with a shout. Let's see if we have a manager who can make an intelligent change this season before we right them off

oh and miller looks very slow

Not sure what the keepers done wrong to

be classed as ropey.

I hope our fans will give this young team particularly the back five a chance, really unlucky today, two sloppy bits of play punished.

Much better team for the last hour, everyone played their part and it was an encouraging start with decent backing from the stands.

Only real gripe I have is the lack of leaders on the pitch they were like strangers at times and need to help each other out, other than that we will be just fine.

We dominated the 2nd half. The first 20 minutes cost us we started too slow.

If thats the best side in this division we have nothing to fear. Start with Nepo and Ogrady over Miller and coke next week and start better and we will beat Forrest Green.

Plenty to be encouraged about.

Byrne in for Coke today and we win that game.

4,400 home fans is a decent turnout.

Only just over 3,300 for this fixture last season.

Blimey one game into our first season in the fourth division in over 45 years and we are already reduced to taking solice from the crowd size.

Havent seen anything bar todays game.

Taking the positives from this- Graham looks a player, Hamer if what is to be belived won't be here much longer unfortunately, hope the rumours aren't true because we have a decent back 4 there with Clarke thrown in.

New French lads can actually play football and seem promising.

Gardner had a good game and covered a lot of ground, few stray passes but he will shine if Byrne isnt to play

Decent balls into the box ala last season, just need someone there to convert them.

One thing though, would of swore Ricketts was playing number 11!! Lots of standing about, hands on hips type play!
