And Lang ?

Showed why he should be up front.

Miller on right wing.

Is it me or have we become more dangerous since Miller came on?

Playing right wing with pace and power.

That was a tactically inept performance.

Too deep

Too slow

Too cautious.

Bunn is holding us back with his methods.

Baxter had to go off despite the boos, he was poor.

Gardner much improved on Saturday, but still makes some VERY strange decisions in possession.

Hamer, Hunt and Nepo played well imo.

Clark didn’t play well. Edmundson started well but got worse.

O’Grady started well and became terrible.

Miller definitely improved us.

I'll settle for a win over a poor performance anytime. Good use of subs changed a dull game against 10 men .Miller definitely brought the game to life and glad Lang scored.Shold do his confidence  a world of good.

Very poor crowd tonight which was expected after the last couple of home losses.

Need to get a win on Saturday  against the team which sent us down.

I watched on ifollow (in between the interruptions) and didn’t think it was as you describe.

We played with a better tempo tonight and got in a lot more crosses and forward balls.

The defence did not have too much to do which allowed Hamer and Hunt to get forward down the flanks.

Baxter was bright first half but disappeared in the second.

Gardner’s distribution was better tonight.

Missilou played well but I was on tenterhooks after his booking.

Nepomuceno had his best game for us and could have had two goals.

Miller a handful after he came on.

Benteke was in the right place to score - and what a relief when that went in.

Lang kept going and got his reward at the end.

Bunn has a good game, pushing his team to get forward and to up the tempo, effective substitutions too.

What is still evident is the lack of confidence that is running through the side - players snatch at shots and hesitate when in good positions. A much needed win admittedly against another poor side and hopefully confidence will return. Bring on Northampton...now remind me, how did they get on tonight? ?

That was painful, Jose hardly touched the ball 2nd half so it wasn't a surprise to see him subbed, Cheltenham were poor but looked like they were going to get a point. I don't see what Bunn sees in O'Grady but he was terrible. Miller made a difference when he came on, also thought Dan had a decent game. That was some brain fart by their lad to throw the head at Baxter strange how footballers minds work sometimes.

Thats bizarre.  I can only think that not seeing the whole pitch and missing  how we constantly had players behind the ball and constantly needed more support in midfield and attack didn’t show on tv. We were very poor.
