They might be decent individual players but how do they fit into the squad/strategy etc?  You've named 3 wingers there, but we already had Nepo, Branger, Kokos, Fage, Robinson and McHale on the books.

Despite the odd decent player, the overall recruitment has been nothing short of woeful. No one deserves any credit.

Again  we have Wheater, Egert, Smith, Morias, Eagles, Mcann,  Not all players brought in are woeful.. anyway who are you expecting to be brought in going of our "poor season ticket sales,  and recent attendances of 2500 ?? sadly busineses cut there cloth accordingly,  and football clubs have to follow suit

We've wasted wages on very poor players, the income isn't the issue.

Wheater - 1 year deal

Egert - 1 year deal plus option

Smith - Loan til the end of the season

Morais - Loan til the end of the season

Eagles - 1 year deal plus option

Mcann - Short term deal, not specified

The best players you've mentioned have all been signed on short term deals, that's not a decent recruitment strategy. We have to do it all again every season.

Smith is settling in well  loooking like a very good addition to our squad, i think he will only get better more games he plays. Its a breath of fresh air watching him take his man on and beat him, plus scoring also . McCann, looks very comfortable on the ball , positionally looks good, we have looked a better side with him in there, plus once he start to get match fit ge will turn out to be a good solid addition..Eagles expierenced player,  he wants the ball, moves it around well, the type of old head we need in the team, again once he gets fully match fit cracking addition to our team...and Morais intelligent player, always looking for the ball  Technically gifted.. Then Wheater, and Egert two very good players will only grow together im looking forward to seeing Egert and Wheater together .We have the makings of a very good side..

On whar evidence is Egert 'a very good player'.

Might be but...

Just ask yourself why we had poor season ticket sales and have POD fans decreasing week on week...its blatantly obvious to most of us!!!

its ok.. if the "fans" continue to stay away its the clubs coffers that take a massive hit, and we generally know what happens to business that dont have enough customers,  they fold .. we are no different... but nevermind there will always be OWTB to vent  your frustrations on

i wonder if a reduction on season ticket sales and paltry home crowds have played any part in this 🤔

Chicken & egg.

More people would have renewed without the managerial merry go round, rumours of interference, better quality singings, and renewing Peter Clarke.

Then there have been the moves sacking the manager and poor performance, and splitting of the team.

A significant chunk of the lost revenue is down to the owner himself.

Well, you don't chuck good money after bad. Our money is being frittered away.

It's the way the budget is spent that's the issue.
Up to Abdallah & Mo to make the first move, they're in the driving seat. They've had 2 1/2 years to get a grip.

Its whats happening. Years of mismanagement and poor on the pitch and match day product have led us to here....

Where someone is mismanaging the club again, recruitment has been dire, managers in and out, and the fans are routinely  insulted by some twonk in a suit.

The fans have had enough and people are walking away.

Options now are for the chairman and co to try and put things right or at least improve in areas they can and with some luck people will return..but there's no guarantee or someone buys the club off them but I reckon with the way we are linked into brass bank etc and the complication there the chances are slim
