Hopefully we have negotiated a few out. How Curle was allowed to assemble a squad with no strikers is beyond belief and a major factor in our league position.

Curle and Mo. Lets not let our esteemed sporting director off the hook.

Technically I suppose Tope isn't in the squad yet as he is still subject  to international approval, so maybe someone is on the way out before he actually is approved. Maybe he didn't know it was a football team and thought it was a party involving ball games

Doesn't this make 24 players of 'professional' standing, rather than the maximum 23, or has someone left that I've missed?

So yesterday it was suggested we might be signing Baldock and today we sign Tope…..this is like when I received an email from Camelot saying I had won on the euro millions and should log in to check my winnings….for the minutes it took me to log in I was dreaming about how I would spend the £62 million but a few moments later I was thinking about how to spend the £2.50 😁

Given his long term absence, does he count as ' a player of professional standard' ?

Good shout but no timescale in the rules:

Professional Standing = is any Player who has made one first team appearance (including as a sub) for any Club in any first team competition (EFL Trophy appearances do not count).

I thought you'd relenquished your position as Embargo Monitor ?

From baldock to this. Never fancied we would get him as always likely someone higher would also want him.

tops though. Wow. I liked him when he was here but not to have played for 2 years and all we can get shows how bad it is. Anyway if he is same as he was last time he will be a solid addition

The way Brexit is going we might be lucky to see him at all this season.

Apparently, someone is classed as long term injury, so we’re allowed another. Look at that squad it’s embarrassing, even 22/23 squad could be big enough and good enough but we just wasted spaces !
