Flemboy
Very pleased with Rooney signing.. We need players who will shout out instructions and both create and also score goals. He ticks the right boxes for me. Wish I had Jim's SCFC number to let us have his opinion but hopeful he will do so now we have signed Rooney. He can't be half as bad as the midfield we have barring injuries. Lee Sinnott
On the face of it, it's a good signing. Player of the Year twice in this division in recent years. Curious as to why Barrow were willing to let him go...
Boyyou
When he left them for County he said he wanted to be nearer home. Either that or he is another crock!

GKing521
Decent highlight reel but he seems to thrive in a team that can actually pass a football and look after it. We are not one of those... yet. Two year deal is good to see.

That doesn't fit in with what Unsworth said in his first presser though, he was big on players working hard. Barrow looking at Jordan Lyden to replace him. Apparently they're just about to sign Lyden too

When did Barrow start to train in Salford wasn't it just this year? That would make sense with the timeline, if he was still training in Barrow at the point he left for County in 2020. He may have been told in Jan 22 when he rejoined they were planning to move their training base.

SCFC
Never my cup of tea, will score wonder goals but your midfield has to do all the leg work, rumour has it he was instrumental in getting Gannon out, County fans were 50/50 with him.Considering his undoubted talent it’s strange he never made it as a football league player. When the going gets tough you won’t see him, hope it works out for you.

If he can stay injury free, then they'll have a good player. Are they the same? Rooney is more of an attacking No. !0, while Lyden is more of a central midfielder. Be nice to have them both....
