Of course if the person knocked down complains hard enough and to the right people the investigation might get taken out of GMP's hands. TBH had there been no pitch incursion or Roccy lads wading in to the young lad I would have quite liked the liberal stewardship. Everyone partying and having good time in a stand where chances are there would have been no arguments happening. Let's not forget no one was sitting down either or that rule being enforced which helped the party atmosphere. Just a shame football fans aren't treated this way anymore, if they were perhaps more would be content to not go further. I've always said beat a dog enough and it will believe its a bad un.

The Altincham stewarding included some of our own stewards. A great idea. Edited October 24, 2023 by BP1960

Hemel latic
Belatedly caught up with the pod after a busy few days, great listen as ever with another good fan guest. I thought his (Christian's?) point about some education for the kids about keeping off the pitch was a good point. Far too easy to get into condemnatory mode but some education and the club stepping ion sounds a good idea to me. Did Andy give the answer to the player with the nickname, "The Judge"? If so I missed it, can anyone help me out?

Not listened myself but I only remember one player with the nickname the judge and it wasn't a Latics player. Alan Knight at Portsmouth was known as The Judge if i remember correctly, a keeper who always seemed to excel against us.

I've said this before, but the younger element these days are too bothered about how their "limbs" videos look on TikTok and Instagram. There's no way a goal at home to Dagenham and Redbridge makes people as excited as some of the videos I saw two weeks ago...

Hemel latic
Dredged up from the murky depths of memory. I often think that some of those players that seemed a bit meh back then would be tearing up a whole forest if we had them in our current team.
