jimsleftfoot
You haven't got a decision to make, unless I'm missing something. ??? I'm hopefully going to buy Latics (after I win the Euro Millions).
Roger Ritchie
I'm hopefully going to buy Latics (after I win the Euro Millions). A Euro millions win wouldn't last you 4 seasons at a football club.
opinions4u
A Euro millions win wouldn't last you 4 seasons at a football club. You could make €100m last a generation in League One.
JohnnyPimp
Well, if Mr Koukash has a genuine interest in football and watched the game tonight, he might just throw Corney a serious offer tomorrow.
al_bro
I wonder if MK is looking to buy the club from Corney, the land from Blitz and Gazal, or both? I would expect he would want to buy the land as well. The club's worth next to nothing without the land.
Lags
If MK watched that tonight and is serious, he'll be at BP 9 sharp tomorrow. Who can front door watch?

opinions4u
Still wants us. Hasn't mentioned it to Corney. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/salford-red-devils-owner-marwan-5910958 This will delay the stand being built. JohnnyPimp
I wonder who the connected parties are that he's been speaking to if it isn't Corney & Co? Oldham Council and Chris Hamilton maybe?
jimsleftfoot
One way or another its more exposure to him which may help his current businesses along a bit.
oafc_lover
From Corney's comments I get te impression he simply doesn't want to sell.
HarryBosch
Hmmmm...all sounds a bit pie in the sky that. But if he took the rugby part out he'd be saying exactly what many have been wanting to hear.
4froale
id love for this to happen, wouldn't it be nice to have a bit of cash to splash for once instead having to sell our better players to make ends meet.
singe
This smacks of the Mike Newton negotiating through the Press approach. Personally I'd love a joined up Latics and Rugby approach with leisure facilities for the town. Maybe one of the "connected parties" are Simon Blitz ...... danoafc
Rich man keen to invest in football club that's been in decline for twenty years. Fans unhappy. Two words. Chris Moore.
Twisbrogan
From Corney's comments I get te impression he simply doesn't want to sell. He's said on many occasions that he does want to sell but he says here that he hasn't spoken to MK for three months so I'm not sure how he could make it sound like a deal was progressing. This particular MK vision clearly won't be coming to fruition. There's no way the Super League would allow the same owner at competing clubs for obvious reasons and to even suggest it seems so madcap that it casts doubt on the rest of the plans. Disappointing really. He obviously likes to go to the media with his plans so it would have been great to hear something viable which, as Harry points out, it would have been without the rugby bit. the_mighty_bosh
I'd obviously like a bit more investment in the club and team right now as things seem to be relatively positive right now and capitalising on it would be great. But Corney's comments and the Rugby plan of owning two teams don't enhance my opinion of Koukash at all. Unless the rules are different in Super League, thinking that you can own two clubs like that seems naive.
rigsby
its a load of bull. Lets be thankful we have a decent forward looking gaffer and a decent young team,MK wont be coming anywhere near BP i'd bet my house on it.
Andy Ritchies Toupee
whilst id love for th club to have a good investor, id also want an owner who is much in it for the long term and not someone who is going to up sticks at the first sign if trouble. would be exciting to have a bit of money to spend and with the way LJ is having the team playing theres no doubt i want him to have the chance to manage the club
jburbri
There must be something in it, because corney said you can never say never in football. Pine Villains
id love for this to happen, wouldn't it be nice to have a bit of cash to splash for once The last time that happened it all ended in us creating a supporters foundation to either ensure that the next buyer is who he says he is, or to completely stop it from happening again.
