Would seem odd to go all out for Swindon's manager and then apponint a man with no managerial experience at all. If that is true then I think it's a sign of how much cash Barnsley may be happy to throw at a manager. He's got a cracking shot at being a Championship manager next season so to give it all up for Barnsley suggests there must be a hell of a carrot somewhere. Didn't he later (or before) throw his toys out of the pram because he didn't get the Wrexham job?
