He broke Fanes leg with a nasty tackle in a training session. For whatever reason that's pissed off AL immensely (probably because Fane was about to be sold) but for whatever reason unlike Gerrard he doesn't have sufficient reason or grounds to sack him, hence Byrne will be frozen out until he decides to walk away or find himself another club, meanwhile Byrnes sizeable wages is preventing us from bringing in the two or three players we desperately need due to restrictions on what we can spend, Byrne won't be playing for us again so it's a shitter all round.

Bullshit.

Oh and since the 'training ground incident' he's been banished to the train with the kids so make of that what you wish.

I've no reason to spin a yarn the person whose told me is normally bob on with their info, I've been told categorically that he will never play for us again.

Can't say but I'm as disappointed as the majority as I just want to see the best players on the pitch, unfortunately the lads viewed as more trouble than he's worth and has burnt his bridges good and proper.

Did you not ask the mole why he hasn't been binned off?

We spend too much time looking back when we should be looking forward.

Kasunga history is there for the making. However without history we would never progress forwards. I don’t think any of us on this forum spend too much time looking back. It’s a football forum and without history you would have very little to debate. So are you saying that we only talk about what things might happen in the future??? A football club like ours is nothing withou it’s history. I suppose your remark is typical of the thinking of a lot of youngsters of today. I am proud to say that my family have supported OAFC from its beginning and before that Pine Villa. The four generations have always been proud to support our great club in all leagues and divisions over the years. One day if you continue to support the club you will reflect on what has been in the past. It’s part of growing older and being able to support the team through thick and thin years. I hope you eventually have as many memories as I have, both good and bad.

We should be looking to create new memories rather than just fixating on the past .

You still don’t get it do you. How can you get a memory before it has ever happened? What a crazy thought process you possess.

We keep coming back to this, we all agree on it but if this was the case surely it would lead to his dismissal .

FFS. How does anyone "prove" it was deliberate? Impossible id say. So AL/Bunn maybe thought it was... and maybe many of the squad training that day saw it as out of order... so they decide enough is enough and freeze him out instead of sacking him... Which without an admission from JB they can't do anyway otherwise we'd get taken to the cleaners for unfair dismissal.

Ask yourself if you were his team mate and you saw the alleged incident.....and know what a jumped up dick JB can be, would you want him in the team??

Frankie himself has said he would love Jack back in the team. If he’d deliberately injured Fane he would have been off the books weeks ago without a pay-off. Amazing how many people are failing to grasp this.

Just you it seems Ryan! You can't prove it was deliberate. That's the point!! ?

Think your pretty close to the mark here. It will all come out in the wash I suspect and my attitude to Bunn leaving Jack out has changed given what I've been told.

I give up.....

You can tell whether there is intent in a challenge. Fact.

Wasn’t he being pally with a few other teammates in the director’s box against Derby? Are you really telling me that Clarke, Surridge et al would bother socialising with him if he’d deliberately injured Fane? They’d quite rightly want nothing to do with him and Jack would’ve been off the wage bill the day it happened.

Thanks for that Max, next time i am suffering from insomnia i will ask you to recite a story or two :applause1:

Milligan and Henry had Holden and Adams, Baxter and Byrne unfortunately are stuck with Nepo and Branger, bit of a disadvantage there.

For the record, i have no issue with Bunn,he is merely the monkey to Lemsagam's organ grinder as far as this stand off is concerned,

Just as I suspected, can't respond without a dig or insult.

Don't debate if you are only willing to hear your side of it.

Lemsagam wants his wages off the books, there isn't anything more to it than that.

That's not going to happen. If he's earning the rumoured 5 or 6k, then only the top end of L1 or the Championship would be willing to pay all of that. I doubt a Championship club would take him, and the top end of L1 won't want to risk him unsettling their players. Other L1 clubs would want us to pay a large chunk of his wages, and wouldn't be able to sign him in January because they couldn't afford him.

Not sure 6k is out of the reach of most L1 clubs to be honest but this only goes two ways, he either gets a payoff or stays in the wilderness and Bunn has to face questions about him after every poor performance.

No-one could prove he did it deliberately, only Byrne knows that. I hope he didn't intend to break Fane's leg, but he may have wanted to hurt him.
