Seeing as the Prediction League only takes into account the official attendance figures, it'll have to be a minimum of 2690 (what a joke figure). This Steven Brown needs to get his wording right. Surely reporting “attendance figures” means people who attend. It is clearly an attempt to mislead if you report “tickets sold” numbers as attendance numbers. However the fact that he explains the error but doesn’t seem to see it, calls into question other things like ability, experience and intelligence. Someone also counting from the Joe Royle Stand would be ideal to catch the Main Stand. A few chipping in with just one stand would provide a reliable average. Personally I’m not expecting attendance to be as low as a 1,000. I will be surprised if it’s less than 2,000. This game before Christmas would be the pits anyway. Just a feeling. A group of seven in my area aren’t protesting, on the basis of protesting not being mentioned on Tuesday night and ‘see you Saturday’ after the game. To be fair if that has been done in the ‘pack the park’ game I think it would have shown ‘pack the park’ failed. The attendance was nowhere near what was reported but people didn’t seem to mind for that one game and were actually claiming some kind of surge.
