is there a rule stating that if a clubs in admin players can leave for free?

No, but they tend to be available cheaply, especially if they are probably out of contract at the end of the season.

There's a rumour going round Twitter via Facebook that Hearts have accepted a £40k bid, but I'm not sure if I'd believe it as it originates via a few people from a "mate" of his.

So the boyhood fan who was in demand elsewhere, accepted a pay cut and pledged to stay even if the club was relegated is released. And still supporters get outraged when a player "fails to show loyalty".

If we were ever really interested is this guy, no doubt LJ has already been onto his agent this morning. Or is that just a little bit too much like " finger on the pulse " for Latics.

Why say that?

Have you anything to back it up - anything to suggest we've missed out on transfers because we havent acted quickly enough?

Has Rachubka re-signed?

Got a feeling he'll be number one with Coleman as backup.

When he originally wanted to sign McDonald he probably didn't particularly rate Rachubka whereas he should do now...

MacDonald is quality - better than Rachubka. I'd sign him, if we have the chance, but he's likely to get better offers.

According to the Chron Rachubka and Wes are only 50-50 to resign. Brown is most likely of the three to sign.

Or the least likely to get offered a better deal.

Probably true but he's also probably the best investment of the three for us or another club.

As good as he is at what he does Wes is the type of player who will never command a decent transfer fee, Rachubka won't again but, as a pacey, young English rightback Brown could one day go for a lot of money if he keeps improving......

Got the impression on the awards night Coleman will be off out on loan.

Agreed, of the three he has more potential to be a money spinner for us, but he must keep the improvement going as you say.
